Hattori sighed, clearly frustrated.

"Just keep it down for now. There will be plenty of time to kill later. I've got to plan our next attack."

 

"At least they don't know the location of the rebel base, that's a good thing."

 

"We'll have to watch our movements though, as we can't have them tracking us back here."

 

Lesa imagined wringing Arisa's neck, "Let's hope so." She cast a disdainful look at the body on the ground, "Fun without me. Next time you attack something, give me a shout out."

 

"I have a feeling, though Toji will send some powerful soldiers to bring Minato back to him." Shiori said.

 

"Let him try it. We'll make sure that doesn't happen."

 

Minato sighed and looked away.

 

Lesa made gagging motions and for once agreed with Cara. "If he says another cheesy thing about protecting Minato in any indirect way I'm gonna die!" Bahamut rumbled and she could see his 'human-like' form in her head laughing at Cara's words. She stopped gagging and remembered the man she wanted to marry instead of her arranged fiance and felt her cheeks turn red.

 

Minato left the room and sat on a tree stump.

 

Lesa followed by prompt of Cara. She stood off to the side and watched Minato sit.

 

Hattori planned their next attack through the night, refusing to sleep.

 

Minato stared at the stars, humming something.

 

Lesa swayed, Minato's song was putting her to sleep. She yawned, "That's pretty. What is it?"

 

"Geeze Hattori, your planning us keeping me up... Can you at least lay your head down or something?"

 

"You don't like it, go to a different room. It's physically impossible for me to sleep."

 

"It's something from my home. I believe it's called 'Once Upon a December'."

 

Lesa smiled and looked up at the stars, "I wonder if he can see them too..."

 

"Well, if you need someone to knock you out I'll be in the other room."

 

"Who? Your secret crush? I have a feeling my family is looking up at the same sky as well."

 

"Sure, whatever." Hattori said as he turned back to his maps.
