Digimon: Virus Outbreak

A sea of darkness lingered above the city, white jewels glistening along with it. The streets were barely crowded. In fact, very few people were out at this time of night. Eiki layed on his bed, hands underneath his head, eyes fixed on the cieling. He had turned off the computer a long time ago. He had a small night stand next to his bed; digivice placed on it; a lamp turned on. The digi-egg layed beside him; purple stripes visible in its design.

"Good night, Eiki!" his mother shouted from her room. Her faint voice barely reached his ear. He closed his eyes for a sec; taking in a deep breah; and then gave a sigh.

"Night mom!" he replied as he reopened his eyes. He turned off the lamp and got himself underneath the covers, bringing the digi-egg along with him. The night had yet to cast its spell on him, so naturally he was still wide awake.

He kept thinking about how his whole life as a digidestined started out. He will never forget that day. The day that were the stepping stones to his current life.

"Heh...man. Life sure has been a bit rough..." he mumbled to himself, his head turning to his right. He looked at the digi-egg laying beside him, underneath the covers. He couldn't help, but let a small chuckle escape him. "Well, tomorrows Sunday. After that, it's back to school..." he said in disappointment.

Haru looked at the claw as he snapped his fingers. Haru yelled," PAILDRAMON!! FIRE YOUR DESPERADO BLAST IN HIS CLAWS!" Paildramon nodded his head and aimed both of his large guns in the gap of the open claws. A laser started to charge
as Paildramon yelled," DESPERADO BLAST!!" He flew back a bit as he rapidly shot out energy bullets at the gap of the claw.

 

Boromon began to make the strange noise from before again, as its claw began to glow, as well as all of the green spots on it. And then, after a single shot went into the claw, hitting directly in the middle where the inner tissue of the body was, boromon explode into thousands of data particles, being released into the air.

 

Haru saw the data particles spread into the air. He pointed at the data particles to see if Paildramon can do something with them so Paildramon flew at the Data particles and started to Absorb them quickly. He slowly landed back onto the ground and degenerated into Deviveemon and Moromon. Haru ran to the 2 little digimon and hugged them tightly.

 

Skyler went over to Reppamon's side and assessed the burns. "You should have been more careful," she chastised.

"I'm fine," Reppamon replied, though winced a little. "I can't help but wonder why that thing attacked here, of all places." He shook his head, befuddled.

"Stop trying to analyze everything. It might have been a random attack. Besides, it's gone." She glanced over at Haru, watching him. "Y'know, he's not as idiotic as I thought."

 

Matt began to clap, standing behind the group, with his two digimon behind him. He had a grin on his face, looking at all of the destruction caused from the fight. "Very good. You really have me impressed. And here I thought that you were all TOTAL idiots, but I suppose that that is a bit to much of an exsaguration." he said

 

The two of them started, turning to the sound of Matt's voice. "See?" Reppamon said, sounding pleased with himself. "I knew there was something up."

She chose to ignore the remark and took a step closer to Matt. "And we're so thrilled to have your approval," she snapped. "But you've had your fun. Mind telling us what this is all about?" She waved her hand toward the general area that Boromon had been in.

 

"A test you see. I wanted to see just how good you were. You went into battle with a viral evolution digimon, and you passed, and for that, I find you all to practicly be capable. I also now have an idea of which digimon in this city need to stay alive for the upcoming threat. After all, this would be no fun unless I saved the best for last" matt said. He then pulled something out of his pocket, and threw it at Skyler, yelling "Catch"

 

Haru stopped hugging his digimon and saw Matt standing where Boromon was. Haru waved to him and said," What about me!?!? I FOUND HIS WEAKNESS DUDE!" He crossed his arms while his 2 digimon was also upset since they didn't get a reward for battling this monster.

 

She managed to catch the small object and carefully turned it over in her hands. "What the heck is this?" she asked, obviously suspicious.

 

"It is a special chip. Insert it into your digivice. THere should be an area where you can insirt it" matt said. He then looked at Haru and said "I doubt that you would be able to use the thing"

 

Haru looked up at the matt and said," Dude.. if I wouldn't be able to use it... I wouldn't be able to find the weak spot of your stupid Digimon" He started to grin as he said this. Deviveemon and Mormon jumped onto his shoulders and did a little pose but they fell off of his shoulder.

 

Hesitantly, Skyler pulled out her digivice and found the slot. "Don't," Reppamon hissed. "I don't like the look of that kid."

"I don't exactly find him charming either." She started to push the chip in, but stopped. "What does it do?" she demanded.

ooc: sorry I'm so slow to reply.

 

"It is an upgrade for your digivice. You may find it to be more useful then you can imagine, but for now, you might want to keep it handy incase you plan on trying to save the people of this city from future threats to come. I mean, you do not believe that that is the only threat that is to come, do you?" he asked

ooc: dont worry, I am to

 

She sighed, knowing that what Matt said was right. "Okay then." She pushed the chip all the way in.

ooc: Gotta go for a bit.

 

"Green is the flux, red is the virus, and black is the chip. Remember that, and you will be pretty much ok" matt said, as he turned around, and slowly started to walk in the opposite direction

 

The digivice still appeared the same, and after inspecting she clipped it to her belt. She watched Matt's departure for a moment before saying quietly, "Let's go home." Reppamon reverted back to Kudamon and started following her, their route an opposing direction. As an afterthought, she added, "See you later, Haru."

 

ooc: quickly, someone give the name of their favorite band. Do it or else you shall face the wrath of 1000 mutant bunny rabits!!!
