"Hopefully wherever we are going, there are people." Sakura said, smiling. Renamon jumped into the trees and poked her head from the top of one. Sakura looked up at the tree, "See anything?" "Nothing at the moment."

 

Agumon was clearly aware of Renamon's stamina, not in a jealous way, but he felt that he didn't want to hold them back, if Renamon could keep going with ease, then so could he.
"I'm okay now Haruka, you can let me go."
"Are you sure? I don't mind at all, this is kinda nice."
Agumon jumped down anyway and started walking. "I'm sure, thanks partner!" he said raising a claw.
"Hey no problem, it's what partners do." She said, bending so she could quickly giving him a high five.

 

"Let us continue." Renamon jumped all the way from the top and began to walk. Sakura nodded and followed her partner, before turning to Haruka, "Lets get going, than."

 

"Yeah." Haruka said, smiling.
Agumon watched Renamon's jump in awe. "Renamon is so strong and agile..." he stated.
"Um-hmm." Haruka said sounding her agreement. "But you're also awesome Agumon. That Pepper Breath of yours really packs a punch." she told him while again, folding her arms behind her head in her relaxed, casual manner.
"Aw, shucks... it was nothing really.." Agumon responded with a slightly embarrassed tone, for all Haruka could have known, he may have been blushing too.
They both continued to follow Sakura and Renamon.

 

"How did you know where to find me when you saved me, Renamon?" Sakura asked looking at her fox-like partner. Renamon smiled and said, "I just had a feeling. Also, you screamed real loudly when you were attacked." Sakura looked away in embarrassed.

 

"Yeah" Agumon nodded, understanding Renamon's story.
"It felt like being pulled to that area right? Except... I didn't need to do any saving persay... I just got flattened by a certain red-headed human falling from the sky." Agumon said, giving a toothy grin to Haruka.
"Yeah, you weren't the softest landing, but thanks all the same." She said grinning back at him.

 

Sakura looked at her digivice, holding it out. Her stomach growled, she looked at them, embarrassed. "Sorry. I forgot to eat before coming here." Renamon ran ahead and came back with a bag of fruit. "Here's some fruit."

 

"Don't worry about it. I mean, now that I think about it... I completely forgot as well." Haruka said laughing.
"So, you're hungry too?"
"No, not really." her stomach growled suddenly in response.
"...My stomach seems to disagree though."

 

Sakura took a fruit from the bag and sniffed before taking a bite. "Wow, so delicious." She smiled and took some more bites, Renamon smiled and took a fruit, eating as well.

 

Junichi rubbed hsi stomach, he too was hungry, he onyl ate breakfast before leaving home and all he had in his pocket right now was some yen for lunch, a lot of good that'll do in this world as Hyokomon did snatch two apples from the bag and tossed oen at Junichi who bit into it.

 

"Aren't you going to eat?" Agumon asked Haruka. Unsure whether he should take one without his partner doing so also.
"Well... I mean... Renamon got them for Sakura right?.."

 

Sakura looked at them and got two pears, walking to them. She held them out to Haruka and Agumon, she smiled as she said, "Here, have something to eat. You'll need your energy when we keep traveling. If you didn't notice, Junichi and Hyokomon took some and I didn't mind. Please, you need to eat."

 

Haruka looked at the pears for a second and then to Sakura. "Well... um thanks." She said happily.
She took them and gave one to Agumon.
"Yeah, thanks Sakura!" he at the pear whole. "Hmm, it's good."
"Itadakimasu!" Haruka announced and then took a small bite out of her pear. "Wow, it is good!" she said, agreeing with Agumon.

 

Sakura smiled and continued to eat her banana. Renamon was eating a wrath of grapes while sitting up in a tree. Sakura looked around, "The digital world isn't just this island, is it?" "There are towns and villages here. But I prefer to be in the forest at times."

 

"I don't blame you Renamon, the forest here is awesome!" she looked to Agumon. "What about you? ...Do you at least know where you came from? Like a village or something."
"Nope. I have no idea."
"... I wonder... why did you lose your memories? ...If you're my partner, could we be linked because of that?"
"Hmm?" Agumon sounded in confusion.

 

Sakura smiled and sighed, leaning against the tree Renamon was in. "I wonder why we are here." "Who knows? Someone probably thought you guys were worthy of being our partners. We can't decide stuff like that." Sakura sighed. "Right........"

 

"If only we knew more... like why us? and what we are meant to do?" Haruka said, also curious like how Sakura was.

 

Sakura nodded and sighed, holding a peach in her hand while she sat under the shade of the tree. She thought about what her foster father had told her about certain things that people couldn't decide on.

 

Haruka sat on the ground next to Agumon, deep in thought.
Both she and Agumon didn't have memories... what could that mean?

 

Renamon looked down at Sakura and wondered if she felt so insecure, was it to with her upbringing or something? Renamon only wanted a strong partner, and she could feel a strength in Sakura. But something was holding her back from unleashing that strength, what though, she couldn't figure it out.
