This is the discussion thread for my Digimon RP. You can read the rules here, look at everyone's characters, and ask questions about the RP! If you haven't joined yet, this is where you do it (assuming you read the story in the RP thread).

Spoiler: Generic RPing Rules

Rules

1. If you don't read the rules, you're out.
2. All of THESE RULES APPLY HERE
3. Three strikes, you're out.
4. It's mostly a nitpicky thing for me, but color code your character. Same for your Digimon, but make it a different color.
5. If a color you want is taken, pick another. If someone's color is too hard to read, high light it. Not anyone uses the same skin so let's not make them go through the trouble of changing colors just for you when you can highlight it in a second.
6. If colors do run out, you can use different fonts, bold, underline, etc. for a chosen color.
7. Two Digidestined max.
8. Everytime your Digimon digivolves for the first time, use the Digi wikia and put the link somewhere in the first post. Either as a link [*url=ENTER LINK HERE]Digimon's name[/*url] (Without the *s) or just put the url at the end of your post.
9. Feel free to throw in wild Digimon to fight or whatever (as long as it's reasonable, no fish Digimon on land or no ultimate level Digimon while you're still a rookie) You can either describe that Digimon (size, color, shape, etc.) or put a link (like in Rule 8) so everyone knows what you're talking about.
10. You can have more than one Digimon, but only two can be chosen. Digimon such as NPCs or Bad Guys are welcome and don't count towards your character limit. Bad Digimon aren't going to follow a human's order, no matter how badass you think you are so don't try to use this to break rule 7.
11. Don't break rule 7 by giving a guy a Digimon and saying "but he's not a Digidestined."
12. You don't have to pick a Digidestined. You can have a normal person or a normal Digimon. Remember though, that without a partner, they can't digivolve. I don't mind you getting a rogue champion or even ultimate. But you're not gonna be the badass hero of the story.
13. Type "Digimon are the champions" in your first post in this thread (the first in character post) if you read all the rules.
14. 20 words MINIMUM. Anytime it's shorter or you keep one lining, you get a strike. It's not that hard to stretch something to at least 20 words so no leniency on this.
15. I get picky when it comes to grammar and such. I will warn you about your posts if they're not at least high school level. Unfortunately, some of you will probably get kicked for this.
16. If you get horny with another member, take it to PMs. Anything beyond a "they kissed" is too far. Besides, Digimon isn't even that kind of story. Look at Tai and Davis. They didn't get any action, why should you?

Spoiler: Rules for making a character

RULES FOR CHARACTERS:

• You can be a little kid, you can be a teenager, you can be an adult, I don't care. But I want your character to act his age.
• Your Digimon will spend most of his/her time in Rookie form, but it does not have to start out that way. If it has a small Champion (i.e. Gatomon) I will let that be its default.
• Just because your Digimon has the powers of a Royal Knight, does not make it a Royal Knight (the ones who actually fought and "died" against the Demon Lords). You can, however, use a rookie form of a Royal Knight, if you do something like "Dynasmon, instead of losing his power and dying upon defeat, reverted back to his rookie form" it'll work. Some Royal Knights do not have a rookie form, so you're out of luck.
• Just because there's only 10 Royal Knights (13 with Alphamon, Examon, Omnimon) does not mean we can only have ten chosen characters. The powers of the Knights did not go into one specific Digimon so much as combined into one mass and then separate. So the more, the merrier.
• If your character decides to go rogue or evil with his Digimon, I don't mind.
• Your Digimon will have ONE digivolution path. I know some Digimon can digivolve into this, armor digivolve into that, DNA digivolve into that thing, I don't care. Pick ONE. If it's a DNA or Armor or Bio digivoluton, just call it a regular Digivolution and ignore the missing Digimon. For Digimon that has more than one path, I'll let you combine them to one (take a champion from one path, ultimate from the other, etc.) as long as it makes some sense. For example, you can't have Impaildramon without having Paildramon. Any questions, just ask. .
• There are some Digimons I don't want in this RP. I doubt any of you will pick them. If you do, I'll point it out.
• I understand that there are many of most Digimon, but there's also an extremely large number of different ones. So if someone picks one you wanted, you can do several things. One of them is to pick a different default level as long as it's not Ultimate and give it a different digivolution line and color as the other person's
• When making a character, put either a link to the picture or use spoiler tags.
• Humans are humans. Nothing special. So no weapons or powers or tails or any of that.
• The actual characters from the Digimon animes don't exist here. I used Agumon and Veemon because they're fan favorites and I love them. It doesn't make them Tai's or Davis's.
• Feel free to pick a main Digimon from the shows, it just can't be that exact one. (You can pick Agumon, it just can't be Tai's Agumon, you know? Completely original person)
• DIGI-EGGS ARE NOT THE SAME FROM DIGIMON ADVENTURE 02 (The season with Davis, Veemon, and Armor Digivolving) They do something similar which won't be revealed until later. But I don't want to confuse you thinking you have the Digi-egg of courage, etc.

17 year old Wyatt Ronalds was just a normal kid in high school. His best friend Jonathan had fallen through a portal last year and returned just days later with a pet Digimon. Wyatt's been jealous since. He's the point guard on his school's basketball team and was on his way home from a game when he got the message.
He is slightly quiet, but courageous. He doesn't back down in the middle of a fight if he's scared. But if the fight hasn't started yet, he might turn tail. He can be real sarcastic.

18 year old Samuel Casey is cocky and arrogant. He's an extreme loner who doesn't hesitate to command others and betrays his peaceful appearance with harsh words. Having just graduated from high school, Samuel had no idea what he wanted to do. He found most careers below him and was currently living at home with his workaholic father. Having taken interest in the latest news surrounding the Digiportals, he didn't hesitate when he got the message. Unfortunately, he landed outside the forest and was attacked by a small bird like Digimon. In the middle of the attack, he was saved by Kyokomon who snuck up on the malicious Digimon and scared it off with an attack. After spending a few minutes figuring out what was going on, Samuel's Digivice lit up and guided him and Kyokomon into the forest.

Kyokyomon is pretty much a newborn. Having hatched into a Fufumon from his egg just a few days ago, he found himself near the forest. After the battle with the Royal Knights and Demon Lords, he digivolved into a Kyokyomon, although he wasn't a part of the battle, just in time to save Samuel from a Digimon. An honorable Digimon. He starts out angry at the current war. After he digivolves to rookie, he decides that he has to stop the war before everyone dies. Unfortunately, he's not rooting for any particular side.

Biography: Ryo lived an average life as he lives with his grandparents, goes to work and goes to college. He finds his life pretty boring but has always been interested in leaning about the Digimon, having always wanted to meet one of these creature but could not as they were pretty rare in the real world. Because of their rarity Ryo had given up thoughts about meeting a Digimon a long time ago and increase the boredom in his life. Upon receiving a text message on his phone, Ryo decided to check it to get rid of the boredom

Bio : He once was the royal knight Gallantmon but upon his defeat he reverted back into a Digiegg where he was raised and hatched in a village pretty far from where the Demon Lords had wrecked havoc upon. Upon reaching rookie level Guilmon left the village and began to travel the Digiverse. On his travels he began to see the cruelty of the Demon Lords

Long red hair down to her waist, orange eyes. Wears baggy navy and black bottoms and a loose fitting red and black sleeveless top (she likes to feel comfortable).

Personality: Haruka doesn't let her lack of a past get her down and has a very outgoing and cheerful personality preferring to live in the moment, she is the type who doesn't hold back around anyone with the attitude of: 'If someone can't like me for who I really am, why should I care?'
Not to be considered a tart, but she isn't afraid to use a bit of sex appeal to her advantage. She loves to joke around and hang out with her friends and is extremely loyal, always willing to jump in head first if they need her, and never backing down from a challenge. Haruka herself has also developed a bit of love for fighting and is naturally skilled with hand to hand combat. So don't mess with her friends or you will have to mess with her too, and she isn't the type to go down so easily.
She usually takes a pair of roller-blades with her wherever she goes, them being her preferred mode of transportation.

Biography: Woke up one day at the age of 10 with complete amnesia, not knowing a thing about her past, anyone or who her parents were. She only knows of her first name because of a tattoo found on the back of her neck which says in small letters: (Haruka 273). When she made her way wearily into the town she was on the verge of collapse and taken into a hospital. The police were called to see if any young girls had been reported missing, but there was no trace of anyone looking for a 10 year old red headed girl at all.
She was taken into an orphanage where she has been ever since. Now 15 she attends a local school and tries to live life the best she can. She gave herself her new surname Hotaru (which is Japanese for Firefly) after her and her friends were hanging out and a Firefly decided to land on top of Haruka's head, it's warm glow matching the colour of her hair, to which all of the girls laughed.
She loves the idea behind Digimon, but figures she'd never be so lucky to meet one.
She one day got a text message. She felt compelled for some odd reason to do what it said, however, she never expected to end up in the digital world.

Biography (does not have to be too long): Ellen lived her life in England, her parents dying in a Car accident when she was young, and being adopted by her uncle. Her uncle is a good-known racecar driver who does his best to be a parent like figure to her, but he can't help but be more brotherly to her. Ellen was taught to be elegant and sophisticated, but she found it to 'Tight' for her and only is like that with guest over. When she got her map she followed it after with out hesitation, being the laid-back person she is.

Bio:
Dracmon appeared out of nowhere during the last few battles. He seems to have caused small scale mayhem on both sides, attacking both good and evil Digimon. Somehow managing to survive, despite his status as a Rookie, he currently wanders the area near the forest. When he notices bright lights coming from inside, he investigates.

Biography (does not have to be too long): A normal Japanese high schooler who lives on a crescent island of Hatsunejima where cherry blossoms are in constant season, he lives life naturally with his adopted sister Nemu since their parents are always out at work, he never would figure that Digimon could arrive on the island but nevertheless, he watched the news but oen day, while travelling to school alone as Nemu already ran ahead, he gets a text on his cell phone and decides to check it out, little did he know, his world would be changed entirely.

Bio (Should not be more than a few lines long): All Hyokomon travel the Digiverse to become wandering swordsman to grow and adapt to their care-free life, when the war was over, Hyokomon digivoled rather quickly to his current state to find who he has been waiting for, very soon, that day will come.

Personality: Lana is a girly girl. She is afraid of bugs, and has a soft spot for cute things. She is optimistic on the outside but keeps her true feelings on the inside. She comes off as bubbly.
Biography: Lana lives with both of her parents and has had a normal life. She likes to draw, paint, and just be artistic. She likes to create things that are not of her world, she craves adventure, and someone to love her. She has seen some Digimon around her home town and has always wanted one of her own.

Personality: When she first meets Lana she is very arrogant. But with the love Lana shows her she becomes softer towards her, she shows her her true colors. She is not as open to others until they show her she can trust him.
Bio: When Gatomon was still Salamon she was beaten harshly by many other Digimon, to the point where she trusted no one. When she Digivolved to Gatomon she felt more powerful and never wanted to go back to being Salamon again.

Personality: Quiet most of the time and usually only speaks when spoken to. Highly intelligent but caring when he has to be. He often dresses in rebellious attire.
Biography: Bored with his life on Earth, Daichi did research on a parallel universe called "The Digital World." He eventually hacked his way into discovering a back door into the world through Data he had compiled together. It was here, he met Wizardmon. Over time, their stories of each others worlds and sharing of knowledge created a bond between the two.

Personality: A mystery to be sure. He is a shy and caring dealer by nature, though he rarely shows it to none other than people he trusts.
Bio: Wizardmon was actually a loner who traveled all over the Digimon World. After Meeting Daichi, He suspects that Humans and Digimon weren't brought together simply by chance and hopes to uncover the truth.

Personality: Sakura is a kindly and warm young girl who acts kinda motherly towards her friends. She is dangerous if provoked, only to be calmed down by a song sung by her digi partner. Sakura is also a very polite and lonely young woman who seeks comfort in her digi partner
Biography: A Japanese English girl, Sakura was orphaned as a newborn when her parents disappeared and were discovered dead one night. She was raised by a wealthly friend of her father and became a proper young girl. However, her life was turned upside down when her foster parents suddenly died and she was left with a inheritance she didn't want. While driving to her college dorm one day, Sakura received a strange text message and went to the forest. She entered the Digiworld and was attacked by a large dragon like Digimon when a mysterious fox-like creature saved her.

Bio (Should not be more than a few lines long): After receiving the Royal Knights' power, Renamon decided for herself to seek a strong human for her partner. Though Sakura herself isn't strong due to the fact that Renamon had to save her, Renamon sees herself a hidden strength waiting to be unleashed at the right moment. She truly wonders if Sakura can bring out her strength.

Personality: Behind his crooked appearance he is actually a very honourable man, he follows a code of conduct that varies between rules of innocence and guilty. He loves his home town and believes bad people should suffer for their crimes, yet believes children can only do wrong for lack of knowing. This makes him very protective of children but very spiteful towards criminals.
Biography: Kirihiko was a salesman before receiving a promotion into management. During a journey to a business meeting he received a text message and followed the path it gave him into a digital portal out of curiosity.
Partner: Monodramon

Name of Digimon: Monodramon
Level: Rookie
Digivolution: Monodramon > Strikedramon > Cyberdramon
Personality: Very stoic. Usually acts in a heroic fashion feeling itself as a keeper of order.
Bio: Monodramon is an old Digimon that during a battle with an IceDevimon many years ago was easily outmatched and frozen in the ice region of the Digiverse until freed by the energy of the Royal Knights. Afterwards he felt himself compelled to travel to the middle of a forest.

Spoiler: Seven Great Demon Lord Digimon

Seven Great Demon Lords
Each Demon Lord is the physical and digital representation of a Deadly Sin. The members have been the same with each incarnation of the Demon Lords, but it is almost never the same Digimon (except for Lucemon and Leviamon). Unlike the Royal Knights, who are chosen by previous members, the Demon Lords are usually regular Digimon who are corrupted and given the power of Apocalymon. With this, they turn into the infamous seven great Demon Lord Digimon: Barbamon, Lilithmon, Daemon, Beelzemon, and Belphemon. Lucemon and Leviamon have been the same members since the first incarnation. I control Lucemon, Beelzemon is dead, but the others are up for grabs. I will control them for plot purposes if they aren't taken.

The leader of the current incarnation of the Demon Lord Digimon, Barbamon represents the sin of Greed. At Mega-level, he is powerful enough to easily manipulate mega-level Ghoulmon to do his bidding while he sits idly be in his castle. He has the ability to manipulate most Fallen Angel Digimon. To go with his sin, Barbamon loves treasure. Greedy as can be, Barbamon worships Apocalymon and hopes to bring him back in order to be rewarded, hopefully with reign over the entire Digital World.


Lilithmon (program)

Barbamon's second in command, representing lust. Lilithmon was corrupted from an Ophanimon and turned into her current evil form shortly before the battle with the Royal Knights. As an Ophanimon, she worked for the Royal Knights to keep order until a dark force corrupted her. Barbamon tasked Lilithmon with the job of awakening Leviamon.



Daemon

Representing wrath, Daemon was a Seraphimon once. Corrupted by dark force, he acts as the Demon Lords' field agent, recruiting Digimon into their armies and destroying the rest. He was corrupted long before Lilithmon and is, in fact, the Digimon who managed to corrupt her from her Ophanimon state.


Leviamon

The gigantic physical embodiment of Envy, Leviamon is perhaps the largest Digimon known to Digikind. The humongous gator-shaped Digimon is rumoured to be able to swallow the entire Digital World. Leviamon was absent during the last battle, due to having been sent back to the depths of the Dark Ocean by the last Digidestined. It is now sealed within the Dark Ocean. Only by feeding on an Angel Digimon will Leviamon be able to escape, but its own fear of Angel Digimon stops it. Lilithmon is tasked with finding another way to free him. Unknown to many, Leviamon is perhaps the oldest wicked Digimon, if not the oldest Digimon period. Unlike other Demon Lords, this Leviamon is same Leviamon that has been in every incarnation of the Demon Lords.

Belphemon

In his current state, it is obvious that Belphemon represents Sloth. Belphemon was put to sleep by the last Digidestined. The currently-cute Digimon is somehow the key to releasing Apocalymon. Barbamon managed to wake the Digimon and, with his help, the Demon Lord Digimon destroyed the Royal Knights. However, Belphemon quickly fell back asleep for unknown reasons, causing Barbamon's plans to be put on hold until it can be awakened again. Belphemon has some intelligence, but acts more like a wild animal upon awakening so it is unknown whether it was once a good Digimon or the same Belphemon from every incarnation of the Demon Lords.

Lucemon (LilBueno)

Just like Pride is the source of the other Deadly Sins, Lucemon is the source of the other Demon Lords. Lucemon has been Apocalymon's servant since the dawn of the Digiverse. Lucemon finds himself sealed within the core of the Digital World every time the Demon Lords are defeated, but always finds a way out. He then goes around finding Digimon to corrupt to remake his Deadly team. Despite being a rookie, Lucemon is more powerful than most Megas. Lucemon is an Angel Digimon, despite being a Demon Lord, evident by his holy rings. Yet he is embedded by the Digital Hazard symbol. Despite being the original Demon Lord, Lucemon is proud to hand over leadership to another Demon Lord, usually causing the Royal Knights to underestimate his power.


Beelzemon (Unavailable)

Beelzemon wants nothing more than power and such, his sin is Gluttony. Beelzemon can't be classified as anything other than insane. With each generation of the Demon Lords, the most power-hungry Digimon is corrupted into a Beelzemon. Beelzemon has the power to lead entire armies, but his insane self prefers to be alone. Beelzemon's strength comes from his ability to take on many modes, a feature resembling most of the Royal Knights. During the last battle, Beelzemon was gravely injured. He perished when another Digimon stumbled upon him and literally ate him. His ironic demise put a dent in the power of the Demon Lords.

Mephistomon

The newest member of the Demon Lords, Mephistomon represents no sin, instead being the embodiment of pure evil. He was found by Lucemon and recruited, instead of being corrupted. His past is a mystery as Mephistomon seems to keep quiet. This betrays his true evil and power as he is a master tactician and perhaps more powerful than even Barbamon. It was his power that helped defeat the Royal Knights.

Biography: Ryo lived an average life as he lives with his grandparents, goes to work and goes to college. He finds his life pretty boring but has always been interested in leaning about the Digimon, having always wanted to meet one of these creature but could not as they were pretty rare in the real world. Because of their rarity Ryo had given up thoughts about meeting a Digimon a long time ago and increase the boredom in his life. Personality: A kind individual who is a pretty selfless person willing to do anything for his friends. It is hard to get him very mad but if he is he can be merciless
Bio : He once was the royal knight Gallantmon but upon his defeat he reverted back into a Digiegg where he was raised and hatched in a village pretty far from where the Demon Lords had wrecked havoc upon. Upon reaching rookie level Guilmon left the village and began to travel the Digiverse. On his travels he began to see the cruelty of the Demon Lords

Long red hair down to her waist, orange eyes. Wears baggy navy and black bottoms and a loose fitting red and black sleeveless top (she likes to feel comfortable).

Personality: Haruka doesn't let her lack of a past get her down and has a very outgoing and cheerful personality preferring to live in the moment, she is the type who doesn't hold back around anyone with the attitude of: 'If someone can't like me for who I really am, why should I care?'
Not to be considered a tart, but she isn't afraid to use a bit of sex appeal to her advantage. She loves to joke around and hang out with her friends and is extremely loyal, always willing to jump in head first if they need her, and never backing down from a challenge. Haruka herself has also developed a bit of love for fighting and is naturally skilled with hand to hand combat. So don't mess with her friends or you will have to mess with her too, and she isn't the type to go down so easily.
She usually takes a pair of roller-blades with her wherever she goes, them being her preferred mode of transportation.

Biography: Woke up one day at the age of 10 with complete amnesia, not knowing a thing about her past, anyone or who her parents were. She only knows of her first name because of a tattoo found on the back of her neck which says in small letters: (Haruka 273). When she made her way wearily into the town she was on the verge of collapse and taken into a hospital. The police were called to see if any young girls had been reported missing, but there was no trace of anyone looking for a 10 year old red headed girl at all.
She was taken into an orphanage where she has been ever since. Now 15 she attends a local school and tries to live life the best she can. She gave herself her new surname Hotaru (which is Japanese for Firefly) after her and her friends were hanging out and a Firefly decided to land on top of Haruka's head, it's warm glow matching the colour of her hair, to which all of the girls laughed.
She loves the idea behind Digimon, but figures she'd never be so lucky to meet one.
She one day got a text message. She felt compelled for some odd reason to do what it said, however, she never expected to end up in the digital world.

I'd love to join this,but the only digimon i really like are Guilmon(my favourite) and Veemon,both of which are taken. Good story though

 

I am definitely interested in this, and will make an OC tomorrow. Also, dibs on Gatomon.

 

It'll either be to help unlock the Mega
or to be used alongside the Digiegg to go to Ultimate.
Or something else I can't think of at the moment lol.

@ Dr. Wigglz, you can be another version of Guilmon such as BlackGuilmon or you can be Veemon but make it follow a different Digivolution path (make it digivolve to Flamedramon, Raindramon, etc. but we'd have to find a decent ultimate for it). If you do pick Veemon, you and program would have to work out which one stays in Rookie because both of them can't stay in rookie all the time (I might even allow one to stay in Champion, depending).

I'm going to say tomorrow night or Tuesday morning. With my two OCs and once Spunk makes hers, we'll have like 8 Digidestined. That's enough to start. Hopefully, other people will join as evil Digimon.

also guys, Digimon don't need to be Digidestined or Demon Lords. You can make lone Digimon, except they won't have the power to digivolve, maybe once.
And you don't have to make a person a Digidestined, if you have some plan for them.

 

I'll make another normal digimon friend and partner who aren't digidestined.
