Chain of Memories Difficulty?

Yes, but if you have an Elixir or two in your deck, it's easy. Just don't sleigh spam in the beginning and when you get Mega and Hi- Potions, start using sleighs. My suggestion? Sonic Blade and Lethal Flame.

But the downside to those is they can get cardbroken very easily.

when i got Re:CoM, it was with KH2FM, so i just put together my deck on proud for both stories. when i got it, i SPAMMED the Lethal Frame Sleight Stop/Attack/Attack i believe) and well, it slaughtered anyone. for hook, wait til his 0 effect wears off, then wail on him!

 

This is true. I don't usually use that combination, but it is extremely effective.

If you haven't played the GBA version then I would have to say you should start on Beginner or Standard. Proud might be a bit to tough for someone just being thrown into the mix of using a card based system.

Edit: However I played the GBA version and thought that the PS2 Version was avery easy compared to it. I started out on Proud and I thought it was still very little of a challenge.

 

I play it on standard mode and it's hard for me... but maybe I'm just not that good...

 

Dude, I'm playing on proud mode with Sora, and I got the game like a few days ago...just haven't been playing it is all, I'm on the second floor, so yeah, haven't been past it yet...actually, that's where I stopped...*sighs* and it's not hard on proud really...at least not for me.

 

Yeah, just beat it on proud mode...

I actually think the PS2 version is a little easier than the GBA, simply because you have better range of movement and you have some better attacks. I had to struggle through the GBA game (especially GBA Reverse/Rebirth... UGH) but I beat RE: CoM without too much trouble on Proud Mode my first run through.
