Kingdom Hearts II Different hair styles?

Ok, simple and stupid question here but I've been thinking about this for a few days now. We see roxas with his normal hair and everything, now here's my question. Why is it in the Secret Ending of the first game is his hair basically flat? I mean, none of his hair looks spiky except that one part you see in front of the hood, but everything else is basically just falling forward. It is because of the rain or did they try to do something different with those graphics? This is something I would like to see in a KH game that's all graphics like the openings and endings. Because this is so strange to me

 

The only part of Roxas' hair that we saw in Deep Dive/Another Side, Another Story was his bangs, nothing else, and his bangs lay flat, so it's not really surprising. Plus you've gotta remember that since he was wearing a hood, that would flatten his hair and keep it down. Other than that I don't think his hair's changed much.

 

it might have been his bang, but what part of his hair actually stands that far out of his head? If all of his hair were being flat from the hood it would have looked different.

 

It could just be from the Deep Drive to KHII Roxas went through different character modifications. Maybe he was originally supposed to have flat hair, and later they gave him spiky hair. I don't really know, that's just the conclusion I hit.

 

that's basically the closet thing I could come up with too, but there's just something about that answer that bugs me. It doesn't seem to give anough of an actual answer. They just need to remake the KH games for PS3 with those graphics, then I won't be questioning these silly things

 

yeah, it's basically the same, but the face seems a bit different from what you see on the games. And as I was saying, the hair just seems different. It almost seems like they tried to take a bit of Riku's design for KH2 and shorten it a bit

 

Deep Dive / Another Side, Another Story were teaser trailers. Everything in them is subject to change. If you notice, Riku also has his shoulder length hair, but we see later that his hair is much longer the point the trailers are depicting. They may have wanted to keep who we now know is Roxas ambiguous--I remember popular theories during that time were that it was a Riku doppelganger, or Sora--or they may have just not finalized his design just yet.

 

really? I always thought that Riku looked exactly the same in the secret ending as he did in KHII.

 

You know, on closer examination, it is kind of difficult to tell--we never get a shot of Riku's hair laying flat on his back, so I suppose it could go either way. But:

To me it also seemed shorter in the first. I suppose it could have been the same deal with Roxas--we never get a clear shot.
