I'm playing Chain of Memories for the gameboy now, and I was wondering. Does the remake contain any extra scenes in it than the gameboy version, if there is, please let me know? SO I can look them up etc. I love the KH sotryline, it's epic.
I've completed it so many times but I just completed KH1, so I'm going to complete this, and then KH2. I can't get enough :D

So yeah if there are any differences between the remake and original please let me know :D

I think (correct me if I'm wrong) that Zexion's death isn't in the original game. Not sure about other stuff.

I'm not sure, I don't remember fighting him because I don't remember his weapon, but I'll let you know when I complete the game ;D

I don't think you actually fight Zexion in the GBA version, there's just a cutscene and Riku whacks him, and he runs away... It was fun knocking him around in RE:COM though. lol. I think that both show his demise at the hands of Replica... (or at least hint at it)

Besides that the only other difference I remember is that they gave Diz a few more lines of dialogue when he mets Riku... something about explaining the abilities of the organizations cloaks...... most of the dialogue is pretty much copy and pasted from the gba game... (with moderate rewording) (that really got annoying for me)

I think that's it but honestly I'm not sure...

Theater Mode is unlockable, which allows you to view all cutscenes in the game.

It will also unlock enemy cards of the Organization XIII members that were in Kingdom Hearts II

Flashbacks from the first Kingdom Hearts are included in cutscenes.

In the English version, when Axel says the word, "Hell," it is censored.

    Pluto has a friend card.

    Boss battle with Zexion

Riku gains a new sleight which allows him to perform a combo with King Mickey.

Reaction commands are implemented from Kingdom Hearts II.

A special command, card duel (card breaking) allows the player to break stacks of opponents' cards in a specific time and inflict massive damage. This is only available to Riku.

Battles now take form in 3D, and objects in rooms can fire projectiles, inflict damage or initiate battles when hit.

In Reverse/Rebirth, when Riku finally accepts both his light and dark side during the fight with Zexion in Destiny Islands, he remains constantly in Dark Mode.

There is also a new version of Trinity Limit that can be accessed by stocking Goofy first; in this sleight, Sora and Donald, who use Goofy as a battering ram, run around bashing into enemies.

Glide is now included in Sora's story.

Lexaeus can go into a temporary state of power and invulnerability, similar to the battle in Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix+.

The Riku Replica has an orb of dark energy in his left hand during his last battle with Sora or Riku.

There are worlds that can change Sora's appearance to match that world, although the only one is Halloween Town (but Riku's appearance is also changed in that world).

Pluto is a party character in Sora's Story.

Maps for battle differ from each other.

New Map cards such as Bottomless Darkness are added.

There is a third form for Marluxia while fighting him as a final boss.

New faces are on Enemy Cards.

    Some death scenes are changed

You could always try getting the US version and make your PS2 adjust to that one because it is a lot better once you play the game and hear the voices. The story makes more sense, and is much more fun to play while seeing the characters.

I guess so, I could probably even get an american PS2, they must be so cheap now.

Mhm, I think a PS2 with two games is around $100. So cheap compared to the PS3. If you do end up getting it, the game is good. Just the card-system is a pain sometimes.

The card battle system... You know when you battle heartless or Org. XIII members...
(I have played both GB- CoM and the Re: CoM... and beat them so yeah)

I must say, their is more area to battle on to the PS2 one... Also the sound, but the card battles are no harder then the CoM on GB... It is surely easier to dodge attacks from the foe... For me though, it made the Repliku battles a little tougher and as well as... I think Zexion or Lexaeus... Don't remember any more it's been a long time ^^; Vexen and Marluxia are much, much more easy for me also...

Yeah, I think Marluxia is easier than some of the other boss battles to be honest. It's just how long you're willing to sit there and fight him xD
