What are the differences?

Another thing is that in final mix you have less health and you take more damage the U.S. KH2.

 

in final mix, you get to re fight organization 13 in data battles,
there a crown sticker mode were you collect crown and put the picture you get in each crown together like a puzzle, You fight the lingering setiment, the mushrrom 13 minigame, new keybldes, you get to fight roxas, the absent siloughts which are the orgy members from com, and you get to were a crown om your head for doing certain stuff.
kh 2 fm is beter than kh 2.
the cavern of remberence and the more powerful enemys there.

 

One thing that mchammer forgot to mention is that there are some extra cutscenes that aren't in KH2. They mostly just expand the story.

 

It's not true that you have less health. It's that there's an extra mode that gives you less maximum health and the option to go through the game without leveling up. Also, it's now much harder to use Pride Rock to powerlevel because the huge swarm that was once there is now only there a certain percentage of the time. There's also Theatre Mode that allows you to watch all the cutscenes in the game once you've finished it. And, if you have a Japanese Re:COM save on your memory card, you can even watch the scenes in the original Japanese!

 

Also the game took out the censors put in the NA KH2. NA/EU got screwed with KH2FM because that game was a supieror product than KH2. Luckily S-E decided to make up for that by releasing RE:COM in NA and of course extras in the NA/EU BBS game

 

Wierdly enough, the Hydra's black smoke is used in FM, too, instead of the original green blood.

 

Mchammer forgot to mentioned that the secret ending has been extended and Sora gets a new Drive form which is similar to his original outfit, plus he gets his old KH I abilities as limit commands with his new drive form. Plus, Christmas Town of Halloween Town gets new music and Sora, Donald and Goofy get some new authentic Christmas Town costumes.

 

Well so tht sums up to be that KH2 FM has additional clothes,music,bosses.So KH2FM is much better then KH2 BUT its in jap. but Carey is working on an English patch for it right now so just HOPE that he completes it :D

 

I'm really jealous of the KHII Final Mix. YOu get to fight Terra :( I know I would lose but that would still be fun.

 

Few extra boss fights/scenes..even music at times...etc.

 

Things have been re-edited from the US KH2. The boss battle with Xigbar, Port Royal and the Hydra battle have been re-censored. And theres the new boss battles, extra areas, new keyblades and a form, ect. Just basically everything above.

 

Can we get some more information about that? I've seen it mentioned, but it's never explained. Is it just like the black/white mushrooms in KH1?

 

Each mushroom has his own minigame. One is like find the right one of four and another one is to kill him while his HP is recovering, and all of these minigames are on time.
