Chain of Memories Did you want it in English

personally, I WOULD ADORE IT IN ENGLISH. i know that there is one petition that is often signed online. i'm not sure if it's been sent to the squenix e-mail yet, but i'm just hoping that nomura will consider it. he has mentioned in an interview that it would be interesting if FM+ could ship overseas...so much for wikipedia saying that it would be released this month. >_>

anyway, now that rumored date is january 1, 2008, which i highly doubt.

going back to the english thing...yes. i've been trying to imagine their voices for too long and i think it's time that we get the real deal, agreed? kingdom hearts sales would skyrocket, don't you think? nomura really needs to pay attention to the stats. XO

oh, and another thing i wanna point out. seeing as Re:COM is sort of a new game to the KH series, i've had my hopes up that this will somehow make way overseas for everyone to experience. as for FM, we can only wait.

XD seriously try to think about it for a second! its like 5-9 min with new scenes and a game that already lunched on gameboy (that u probably have played) in better quality! and u wanna pay 49 dollar more for 5-9 min with new scenes.. lol ppl really are stupid now days!

I don't need it in English. Since all story based scenes were voiced, I was able to understand the Japanese just fine (after years of watching subbed anime, and doing some studying on the side). And even if I weren't, there are vids with subs online. So what's the big deal? Can't afford to pay an extra $30 for a Swap Magic to be able to play the game? Seems cheap enough for me.

I really wanted to hear it in English, I mean the voices are OK in Japanese but the English ones are really good.

 

why dont we all join together and storm Square ENIX...

 

If you want the FMs and teh RE: CoM, why don't you just import it, and mod the PS2? That's what I would do, if I had a PS2...>>

But, I guess it's be cool in English.

 

I don't care about the voices, I like japanese, can't understand much. But maybe if they just resubbed it and changed the menues?

 

I can agree to that. Jap or Eng voices doesn't matter to me. I'm just a strategic player; and if I can't read anything, I can't set it up how I want, and I'll fail miserably, which defeats the purpose of the game.

 

It dosen't matter if it's in English, what matters is that I can understand it, which I can because I've played the original Chain of Memories.

 

I'd rather have the game in English so I can understand everything clearly and move through the game easier. However, as long as I can get subtitles really, I am fine. I watch anime that way all the time and can prefer the Japanese voices and also know the game won't be totally ruined by American censorship. Someday we'll get the games the same but with just translations, and not this reduced game quality.

This is the third time I've had to straighten someone out on here over this issue. The games are SIGNIFICANTLY improved, not just 5-9 minutes of added cutscenes. Don't believe me? Okay, Got it Memorized? Good. Now, how can you honestly sit there and say it's not much of an improvement? I just gave you factual proof that BOTH games are VASTLY improved.

As for your first line, "KH obsessive emo kids", and your last line, "lol ppl really are stupid now days!", you showed a great deal of immaturity there.

"KH obsessive"- Is there a problem? What's wrong with this? There's nothing wrong with avidly loving a gaming franchise.

"emo kids"- As far as the 'emo' thing goes, wth does that have to do with ANYTHING we're talking about? And the 'kids' comment, most people I know here are 15-22 (I'm 17), and I don't see how that falls under the 'kid' category. How old are you exactly? Judging by your grammar, random insults, and immature remarks, you're the kid here. You say 'people are stupid', when you're the one who sounds stupid here.

I'm so happy that I'm not alone, when I saw the trailer of Re:Chain of Memories on You Tube I was completely blown away I said to myself this is definitely coming to America. But it HASN'T!!! I mean Re:Chain practically is the "real" version of the game in comparison to the Gameboy Advance version. Square-Enix North America just passed of on oh I don't know maybe $22 million dollars at least.

Subtitles are fine but if they can do english voices then yay!

 

I really wish there was an english version of this game. Even if there is only a few differences between itself and KH2/CoM, I really feel like I'm missing out on a lot.

I read somewhere that if you email this certain Square Enix address there is a greater chance, but I'm still kinda skeptical about that.
