You judge something without watching it? You call him crazy without addressing his points?

That is a fault of religions the world over.

    You support his position.

But I liked this one. He made valid points. Didn't like it because it was antagonistic, or is there some other reason?

Get back, y'all don't know me like that

I saw that post in the quotes, and I don't like it any more than either video, buster.

Well it's responding to a pretty weak proposition, so while the points are valid, they're worn-out and, like I said, pointless. Hardly seems worth making a video over. Yes, it's antagonistic, but moreover it's attention-grabbing. He could've made every one of those points in the comments of the video, or to the man himself, before going straight to a video response.

If he honestly believed the points could stand by themselves he wouldn't feel the need to snark endlessly, hype up every rebuttal, and moreover behave like an entitled ****** in front of thousands of people. Watching TAA's videos always gives me the impression that he, like the late Chris Hitchens, aims for entertainment first and critical discourse second; which makes a few of his points to some degree hypocritical, really.

Same here. I really don't understand this guy's issue with faith. I have my beliefs and I know other people have different views on the world, whether they are Islamic, Buddhist, or even Atheists. I just don't see the point in antagonizing people because of something that they believe.

It's the justifications and actions because of their faith that is questioned. I am not an atheist, but I strongly dislike the idea of organized religion and their followers, because it makes many people bad, but are "pardoned" because of their faith. Also, as far as antagonizing people because of something that they believe, No one, and no one are more antagonizing and down right rude, than most Christians living in the US. Just saying.

I know this to be true. I have certain people in my family who are like this (which is how I was able to try to be more tolerant of people). Still, just because one is not Christian doesn't make they excused from being as judgmental.

Isn't tolerating intolerance wrong? Atheists in general are very accepting, but question religious people, because we are unable to explain it. This guy is pretty harsh on occasion, but you cannot deny that he is accurate in many of his explanations.

I could potentially break this down into like three different Discussion threads so for now I'll leave it be

"Those guys antagonized us! Let's antagonize them back!"

    Welcome to war.

We've all had different experiences. There are plenty of atheists who are highly intolerant and oppressive by their words alone. Picking on that point is an endless back-and-forth game with no real merit in the long run; a bad atheist is equal to and can arise from similar circumstances and shortcomings as a bad theist.

I liked it more than most of his works. I am not exactly a fan but I did not find fault here. I certainly agree, he did it for entertainment. For those who wanted the other video in order be entertaining, he made this one so that the other side could have something entertaining as well. For my part I am glad that I got some entertainment out of the original video rather than simply being annoyed by it. To each his own.

Self-righteousness. If a philosophy causes self-righteousness then rest assured it will justify various forms of violence in its name. Islam and Christianity are both guilty, and that is why they are so hated; they would enforce themselves on others in laws and acts of war. They also result in bullying and discrimination due to their standards. A good example is sexual deviation. What are they deviating from? Would standardized sexuality and the overall notion of certain kinds of consensual sex being wrong exist without organized religion?

If you are self-righteous, then others will rise up to the challenge in a similar manner. Every action is met with an equal and opposite reaction. In this instance specifically, one young man made incredibly stupid and self-righteous statements, and another young man made equally self-righteous attacks on them. It follows.

Just for the record: Buddhists do practice a sort of Atheism. You don't have to believe in a God to be a Buddhist.

Yeah, I didn't formulate that too well. What I meant was that you can't tell other people they are being dicks, if they are being dicks themselves. It goes along the same road, but what I am trying to say is that no one should call each other a dick anyway.

True fact: no one is literally a dick to my knowledge.

However, some people take on the traits associated with the term. Are you saying that one should not call a dick a dick?
