    that the first final fantasy game on a each console (mainly reffering to PS1 and PS2) was a big hit.
    FF7 god knows how many people love it and i read that FFX had equal success
    i hope FF13 can continue this....

    crisis core (1st FF game on a PSP) also had a huge success in japan so far

    don't get me wrong, the other FF games were great but you just don't hear people talk about them as much as those

    Yea I agree that those games in particular had outstanding reception. I think that XIII will continue this tradition, considering the staggering amount of hype it's getting...

    Well Final Fantasy is a stable series. Anywhere, and especially in Japan the games are really well received. So it's no wonder SE milked FF7, it's like it with Mario games.

    But anyway the series has been selling less and less each game, but they are still selling godly =D

    yea the whole series was great EXCEPT i thot that FInal Fantasy 12 was teh weak link despite all the hype

    i didn't like it either
    i only dislike FF11 and FF12
    they changed to much from what FF use to be and im not a fan of the online RPG battle system

    after FFX and FFX-2 i feel they took the battle system in the wrong direction.....

    FFX;s Battle system didn;t change at all from the other ones, I think..
    FFX-2 was annoying..
    you can;t walk away in the middle of a battle and make yourself a sandwich |*.*|
    FF11 however, I never played.. Isn;t there a monthly fee?
    FF12 The battle system was screwed up the most!
    However.. I kinda liked it! |*.*|

    Well FFX's battle syster added playable summons (aeons) and damage went up to 99999 :0

    I liked FF7 alot, because Dirge of Cerberus, Valentine was cool ;D Yeah, people are crazy about final fantasy, but I still don't get the name, "Final Fantasy", what does that mean?
