Kingdom Hearts II Did you notice that...

Kairi in KH II and Yuna in FFX (not FFX-2) share similar facial features, and hairstyles, even attitudes?

 

Umm.... I think this goes for almost EVERY Square Enix character.

i didn't notice the facial features, but i did notice the attitude.

 

Well, this is for KH, not every SE game on the market. [sheesh]

Look closely at the features. You'll see a good resemblance. Except for the eyes.

 

Sadly, a lot of FF characters have similar facial features etc, especially with FFX and looking back at other former characters. Tidus to me resembled Squall and Zell smashed together having similar features and also clothing. Yuna looked a lot like Dagger and Rinoa and well Rinoa and Dagger looked a lot alike in some ways. Kairi's face does look like Yuna's and she's also short and slender like that. Auron's demeanor reminded me of Vincent and he wore predominantly red. Sometimes also the facial features of characters are close in KH as well and I can't tell if it's deliberate or not such as Xemnas and Terra. Unless characters tend to look different as in exaggerated features, they can resemble each other a bit too closely.

 

Yeah, you're right. But, I was only pointing out the similarities between Kairi and Yuna.

yeah in kh2 kairi wasn't as abnormal as in kh1 >_>
but yuna was a bit more mysterious O.o

 

If you look.
Yuna in FFX has the same color of hair as Kairi, and Kairi in KH2 has the same [almost, Kairi's was slightly darker, Yuna had more mousy brown hair] and in similar styles. They both were someone high in rank [Yuna=summoner; Kairi=Princess] and both had staffs (or a keyblade, but it is a lot like a staff] both were searching for someone [Yuna=Tidus; Kairi=Sora]. They both were kidnapped [Yuna REALLY wasn't kidnapped, but basically she was going to be if she had married Seymour; Kairi was though], and both tried to help the ones they loved. Yuna and Kairi share similar attitudes, they both have almost identical voices, and both wanted peace.


See the similarities.

Hmm...I've never noticed that! Perhaps because Tetsuya Nomura wanted it so?

 

I've always thought Sora's hair was more brown than blonde. I don't play any of the FF games, but I looked her up and they do look similar in my opinion. Someone said they had identical voices. Don't tell me Hayden Pannetierre voices Yuna as well? Or do they just sound alike?

 

I'm pretty sure they all look kind of similar, but I agree...they're really alike. I'm sure that that has no relation to the plot, though.

 

Maybe it does or doesn't. We may never know.

 

I never seen yuna from FFX(accaully i have but i havent played the game in a while) so i wouldnt know

 

Can't say much since I've never played FFX...But I can't really see any similarities based on wat I do no...
