Kingdom Hearts II Did Square-Enix do a good job by giving Cloud the Advent Children duds?

i like his AC clothing makes him look beastly haha and kick butt ^_^​

 

I liked his clothes in Kh2

 

Well, I like his clothes in KH1. They seem more suitable for
him. But, lose the cape and we'll talk.

 

I prefer the KH1 costume. I mean, come on, he gained a totally new outfit just for that game and then they decide to just dump it like that? The AC look is okay, but the Buster Sword wrapped in those bandages didn't fit it at all, it worked WAY better on its original look. Another detail that makes me like the KH outfit better is that demon wing he had, it was a nice addition they added (not to mention the Sephiroth reference). I would have liked it better if they had kept that outfit.

 

i didn't really mind both of them. well a year or something passed between KH1 annd KH2. A change in attire was to be expected.​

 

Well, yeah. I mean if Sora grew a few inches, Cloud must've grown
himself.

My issue is less with his duds and more with the fact that he was given nothing interesting to do.

 

I sorta liked it on there, but I think it didn't fit his character with those duds ...I'd say make the vincent/cloud look from KH1 black and put it in KH2, make the cape dirty-white, the arm silver, and the shoulder-armor the same but more rust-like on his vincent-arm and shoulder-armor...that would probably look cool in the final KH installment...if they ever do that...*sighs* but it might be cruddy if they did that...

 

yes he does. you fight with him in the fight of a 1000 heartless, he fights with sephiroth as well. those things are interesting enough.​

 

I don't really know because I can't decide which one of Cloud's costumes I like better.

 

I thought his clothes in KH1 were strange.The Advent Children clothes add a layer of mystery to him.

 

Well the KH clothes were a mixture of a bunch of characters from FFVII, so I think they did a good job giving him new clothes. It gave him his own identity.

 

I think they did pretty well with giving him his AC clothes, also alot of people I know and myself think the badages around the sword was a nice touch as well for a kids game.

 

I don't like his AC outfit at all... They shoulda kept the KH1 outfits for every1- those outfits were the best :]

 

I think they did a good job, definatly better than when you fight him in Olympus Collisium in KH1.

 

I'd like to point something.Squara enix and Disney give their time and effort to make such great KH games and i don't think any of you have the right to judge them.If any of you feel that you have a right to asy the negitive about the games because you "a loyal fan" you should be taking out and shot.

 

I agree. I'm just expressing my personal taste as to how I envision him looking when I think of cloud. They worked hard on both outfits and I give them full credit when they designed them. But as I stated above. It's just a matter of personal taste for me. I wouldn't go to the extreme of saying that people who react negatively to changes of characters should be shot though.
