Chain of Memories Did Castle Oblivion get destroyed?

Isn't Ven safe in the basement or something? I haven't played BBS yet, so I dunno.

But I doubt it's destroyed.

 

Which is why I say it can't be completely destroyed. At most, the top half is damaged.

 

I just thought it got forgotten, ever since they left it they don't really seem to mention it at all.

 

It was just abandoned because in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days Xion briefly enters Castle Oblivion before collapsing and being brought back to the Castle That Never Was by Axel.

 

I doubt it would be destroyed.

Ven is still in the basement and it can't be accessed unless Eraqus' Keyblade is used. Thing is, it's stuck in the Realm of Darkness with Aqua. The top half of C.O. might be damaged after Sora, Riku, and co. went in and fought Marluxia and his cronies, but they would never be able to get to Ven's chamber and cause any damage there.

 

All of that's been said already.
But I'm pretty sure it's in the Realm of In Between, not the Realm of Darkness.

No it was almost cetainly the Relm of Darkness

Aqua faced three Darksides and that unnamed heartlees there and she met the remnant of Ansem the wise at the dark margin which is in the relm of Darkness.

It looks very similar to where Riku ended up in one of the scenes from KH FM and the interior of Kingdom Hearts in KH1 looks a bit similar...

Then again, that's just what I make it out to be...

 

Yeah, he's great! If I remember well, in the credits (i don't remember if it was in Sora or Riku), Axel find Riku Replica in C.O. and invite him to go together somewhere...

and I believe it was only abandoned.

 

It's been a while since I last played CoM but I believe he takes the Riku Replica to the basement levels of Castle Oblivion where the real Riku is. He convinces the replica that if he gets rid of the original then he'll have an existence of his own instead of just being a copy or something like that.

 

The last time that Castle Oblivion was used was when Axel took Roxas there because he asked him. Axel was against it and found out that Roxas couldn't take it and quickly took him out of the place. Perhaps Axel went there to be alone sometimes. He did spend time there while alot of people thought he was killed off. It is hard to say if Ven is in the upper level or not. Then againt the basement is always dark and Ven is in the light of one of the levels.
