Chain of Memories Did Castle Oblivion get destroyed?

Nobody really knows what happened to Castle Oblivion. Some say it was abandoned which I would have agree with. But still unsure what to it afterwards.

 

No it is not abandoned. Certain members go to it still, and I am not going to spoil it for you. So yes it still exists.

 

Actually, as noted by Sora, he was real. He only ThOuGhT he was fake.

 

It is abandoned. I never saw anything about it being destroyed.

 

Wasn't Destroyed, both Roxas and Xion go there, along with axel, but they weren't there long. (I personally don't know japanese so i have no clue why they were there, but I know why they left, but I don't know why said event happened itself.)

 

I didn't get destroyed because Axel and Roxas go there after the events of CoM

 

The only places the Castle is mentioned in are the end of Kingdom Hearts, the entire of CoM/Re:CoM, and only a bit in Kingdom Hearts II. It is mentioned a lot in 358/2 Days, because that was an Organization stronghold. I don't believe it was destroyed, because what would the purpose be? It's probably still there, just sitting there until a new enemy or friend decides to use it.

 

Wait didn't namine make it? so with her not there surely it would just crumble ??

 

No, Namine was just found there.
Castle Oblivion was made roughly ten years before KH1.

To add on to what Ramen Kun said, Castle Oblivion was created by Aqua.

Castle Oblivion was in 358/2 Days after the events in CoM passed, so it wasn't destroyed.

Well I wanted to avoid that spoiler lol.

Anyways, since because of BBS, it's safe to say the Castle will need to be revisited in a future game, so it's not destroyed.

That's what I meant, but again, I was trying to avoid a major spoiler.

 

But that was even before KH1, they say something about recruiting new members, that they only have eleven, wich means it was before CoM, because we see Larxene there, wich is the XII member, or put it this way, Zexion died in CO, how could he go and talk to Xibgar and tell him to go back if he doesn't even exist anymore? than scene was definetly a lot of time before CoM

 

In 358/2 Days, there is a scene with Xion and Axel talking in Castle Oblivion. It is after the events of CoM, as it has been stated earlier in the game that the other members had been destroyed and Roxas had a vision of Sora going into the pod.

Therefore it was not destroyed.

 

If my theory is correct, then it isn't destroyed OR abandoned, I think Riku replica is there, building a fortress to serve the light in a time of need, he still has his promise to protect Namine, right? so it would make sence if he was making a safe place to go in case of an emergency. Then again, I AM a writer, so I usaly come up with random stuff of what people would do... so my vote realy shouldn't count, one thing is for shure, it wasn't destroyed!

Well acording to the Days manga, they show the castle inside looking totally trashed. but i doubt it was destroyed.
