Anyway, you have to think of the big picture. One life is lost. Yes, it is a tragedy. But what about the family? How many other children are in the family? How will they be affected? Then the parents, how will it affect them? Then the local community, the schools and healthcare system. A single birth affects a lot.

The population growth of the world is already massively unsustainable, something has to be done.

I give up. Neither one of us are going to convince the other we're right. But, before I leave, I have to ask one question: What if it is alive?​

MY OLDER sister got a baby as a kid, and lived with childbirth and was good enought to give it to an orphanage, and he now has a faimly!!!!!

 

Then it is one life out of 6,641,114,625 people in the world. A life that hasn't accomplished anything, and probably doesn't even know it is alive.

1.51x10^-8 of the population of the planet dies in an abortion. I think I could live with that.

EDIT: @JedininjaZC: If Cin were aborted he wouldn't know he had been aborted and therefore wouldn't be able to form opinions.

Also no-one would notice, everything would completely change and it is impossible to imagine what the world would be like if Cin had been aborted.

Than it's murder! That's why it's not okay to have it when your not married and have a house. I mean come on if we weren't supposed to be alive then we wouldn't be!

Some of our greatest heroes were born into poverty! Hello if those people were aborted then we'd be without a lot of stuff!

It's better to be born poor than rich because then you actually say you want better for YOUR kids. SOME (NOT ALL) rich kids don't do much with their money they just spend it. Fortunately some of them donate it.

 

I wouldn't be alive, and I would never have an opinion on this, because I'd be dead. I would not know what abortion was, and therefore would not care.

And as for orphanages, many adopted people go most of their lives without any knowledge of who their real parents are, this can be quite hindering, and the revelationt hat the people they grew up with were not the ones who created them and be an extremely tramatic experience. In the end, a life that wasn't meant to exist only causes trouble, at least abortion stops the trouble from ever floroushing.

 

If Cin was aborted he wouldn't have an opinion because he never would have been alive.

If you were aborted, you would feel no loss because you wouldn't have emotions or consciousness because you would never have been alive.

Maybe YOUR opinion would change if you were a mother living in poverty faced with the possibility of giving birth to a child you couldn't support.

You are basically saying women are too stupid to know how to use their own bodies. Having a child can teach someone a lot, having an abortion can teach you as much. You forget how much damage an abortion can do to the mother. It is not a decision taken lightly by any means.

They receive their oxygen through the umbilical cord from the mothers blood. The mothers blood passes into the placenta and the oxygen passes into the foetuses blood. No breathing on the foetuses part takes place.
