Devil May Cry: Who's better?

its a very easy choice, even though Nero may be a lot like Dante, he still fails hard when the two are compared.

Awww. Dante may be better, but Nero isn't without merit. I mean, he did manage a mean beatdown on Dante's face. Both with a kick and the Devil Bringer.

Plus, Nero killed Sanctus all on his own. Dante trusted Neor with Yamamto because he knew Nero was strong enough to keep it safe. Plus, Nero managed to crush the head of a several-mile-tall statue. Win :D

Also, Nero's Devil Trigger is just epic. Between his Exceed nukes, Devil Bringer supercombos and Devil Trigger moves, he can just win in some situations where Dante has trouble.

 

I also agree with you, but..... >_>.... Admitedly, Nero isn't the greastest.

 

Did it ever occur to you the slight smile on Dante's face. Obviously he wanted to get beat up. Seeing as how he knew the bish couldn't kill him.

 

I liked Dante better so he won the vote because he's more diverse and well...he's Dante. Nero was cool too though.

 

Nero's pretty awesome. His devil bringer just brings me hours of entertainment. But I'd have to go with Dante on this one. He's just my old fashioned kind of guy~

 

I picked Dante...he has those funny cutscenes and hes a lot stronger although its really,really,really,REALLY close to me.

sure, Nero beat Dante in a boss battle, but the cutscene right after that Dante just dodges the final strike and has Nero down on the ground before a second goes by...

Im not like one of those people who hate Nero and think he ruined DMC4, I think hes tough and cool, although Dante is a little more experienced so hes probably better...plus

Actually, I heard that Nero was like Vergil's reincarnate or something... >_>.... Alas, Dante is better because you can almost NEVER come up with a good comeback from what he says. It's like impossible.

He is another son of Sparda. He gains power from Yamato because the sword was first Sparda's. Sparda duel-wielded Yamato and Force Edge like a badass :D. In fact, from a story perspective, I like Nero better. He's a lot more 'human' than Dante. He shows a lot more emotion, and is much easier to identify with than Dante. Dante may be a wonderfully insane person who we all laugh at his crazy antics, but Nero is a borderline emo cultist with a girlfriend. What's not to like? :3 In fact, the only time I've seen Dante act human is DMC3. In DMC1 he was just wierd o_O, and in 2 he was suspiciously not-Dante.

 

Wait up a second there, all I said was that's what a friend of mine claimed. I think it's pretty obvious that Nero isn't.
