..........was i the only who didn't know about this? well, i see it as a bargain since it comes with the first 3 games for the low price of $30. heck it's a BIG bargain for me since i've never even played this game, heh, time to see what all the hype is about.

I've seen it at Walmart. I've beaten the first and am stuck on the third. They are both pretty good. I've never played the second one, but I heard it sucked.

Is that a good game series? I've been thinking about playing it. And the main character resembles Genesis some how to me.

Dante, the main character, is pretty much a bad ass in the first and third games. Not so much in the second, I've heard, which is partially why people say it sucked. But the first and third games are awesome and a little challenging with the puzzles and boss battles.

i heard complaints from friends who play this series that the 2nd sucks because you apparently do more shooting than anything else. tho i don't know much about this series, i'm defintely gonna pick this collection up later today from my local gamestop. tho, imma have to find my ID card so i can buy this rated M game (at least i THINK it's rated M). one more thing: is this game like Resident Evil? i mean in terms of scariness, i can't handle Resident Evil, i dropped my controller god knows how many times when playing that because some stupid bird or zombie startled me :p

The first one was actually originally going to be a Resident Evil game I heard, but they changed it around a bit. It's not really scary.

That's true. But as I said earlier there are also puzzles and challenges that you have to solve, like grabbing a certain item and making it out within a certain ammount of time.

Devil May Cry is a really awesome action game series. Dante is easily one of the most bad-ass demon slayers I've seen, constantly speaking a batch of funny lines. His brother Vergil certainly isn't a goody two-shoes with Yamato either. Nero and his Devil Bringer are awesome too, but he cries a lot about Kyrie -_-' Still, he has the same voice-actor as Ichigo and Vash in the English version ^_^

I have the entire series, so I can say 3 is probably my favorite, with 4 and 1 tied for second. I've yet to play 2 though, so I can't say bout that one.

You can't really upgrade much in 2, which is why I don't like it. And out of all four, 2 has to be the easiest. I've beaten it with out any trouble(unlike the other three...).

    Ye

Oh lawd, yer so late. XD I got ze bargain on my 16th birthday

I have all 4 games as of now, so there's nothing I don't know about. Dante Must Die in three of the games were a real testament of mah own skill and was the first ever time I was challenged in video games like that

As some people know, the first DMC was originally a Resident Evil game in the works. Dante's concept and design was inspired by an anime/manga protagonist named Cobra

A lot of people didn't like the second game because it was just too easy, and too others, too slow, but I guess that's Capcom elitists for ya. However, Dante argubly had the best design here.. DMC2 is the latest chapter in the series, storywise.

DMC3 was a nice return back to its roots, in fact, it pretty much went to the roots as it is a prequel. The game was even more stylish, harder, and faster than its predecessors and gave the fans a really nice treat in the form of a playable Vergil

DMC4 just hit the roof overall. I haven't quite finished it yet (all difficulties) but I'll get there. They just made Dante here look superior than any other badass guy you may have met. XD

DMC's most recurring gameplay element is the Devil Trigger, where a half-demon is able to temporarily transform into a demonic form. All characters given a playable form had their own unique DT forms. After the first game, Dante's Devil Trigger consistently had a red skin to it, as well as wings. Vergil has a similar form, except his DT is more streamlined and blue-colored. Lucia's was probably the most unusual as she gained an ethereal appearance, having a white aura and her form was that of a harpy. Nero's was even more unique as he didn't actually transform, but his eyes transformed and the spirit of Yamato would appear behind him. It wasn't your typical DT because the spirit could also cause damage as well, adding extra hits to Nero's combos

The most recurring ultimate award of the series is the 'Super' costume, which is obtained after beating DMD (excluding DMC2). It depicts a character with a demonic aura surrounding them as a portrait. In gameplay, the character is granted unlimited Devil Trigger

I played the demo for '4' and it seemed 'meh' to me. But it got good reviews.

I want to buy the third, but with MGS 4 coming out, guess which one I'm guanna buy? xD
