I'm actually really excited for this sort of thing to come onto the market. Although I'm certain it will be incredibly pricey, it's just generally gives me a good feeling about the direction this is headed in. It would just generally make it easier to communicate with out pets instead of just being like "why is it barking?" there's a potential explanation to it that we can finally, not only understand, but react to properly.

This is reallllllllly coool. Like, straight out of science fiction stuff man. The video didn't show it in action so im a little disappointed but the amount of empathy and understanding with animals will be astronomical. Idk if they can develop it for other animals just yet, but at least they are making progress *v*

Does it work on politicians ?

Sounds neat. The basic stuff they mentioned is easy to read by body language alone, but still.

I would love to change the language to Spanish or something, just because it would amuse me (and allow me to learn a bit of Spanish xD)

Anyway, the idea is actually quite simple for how it works (the actual practice is another matter though) and this is an interesting form of technology. It would also be nice to see them develop it on other animals, even humans might be quite interesting- I mean, yes we have our communication but we could then just use thought to talk. Of course that could very easily backfire as there are some thoughts that shouldn't be heard.
