Xeno sprinted after Nulix

 

Then they both got smacked by a massive energy wall...

Xardius grunted as an energy bolt threw him to the ground. Heaving himself to his feet, he sprinted for a nearby pile of rubble, hit it, flipped up and back, and landed behind the member. He grabbed the member's head and twisted...life terminated.

That's when he heard the giggling.

 

"It ain't that easy killing me" Xeno stood back up and his head twisted back to it's regular position, three wheels popped up on each of his feet, "Let's dance" Xeno started skating around them

OOC: Oh, Xeno is a Brotherhood member? Makes sense.

BIC: Xardius growled and punched Xeno in the face...hard...

Xeno's eyes rolled up in the back of his head and he slumped to the ground, unconscious.

"Come out, devil..." Xardius growled.

A steady dripping noise echoed through the castle as heavy footsteps approached.

Marlene gasped. "No, it's...it's..."

"Kardas," the monster itself whispered, stepping into the light. Eyes shone like diamonds in a monstrous humanoid face, huge mouth dripping with drool, massive arms, legs...

Kardas was taller than Xardius, but not by much, and was nearly twice as big (hard as that is to imagine).

Xardius gritted his teeth. "I've heard about you...Kind of you to drop by so I can execute you..."

Kardas didn't seem to hear, or maybe he didn't care. A sneer split his ugly face. "Lunch..."

Kardas launched himself at Xardius, and Xardius mentally prepared the exact calculation that would split Kardas in half along an even line so that his halved proportions would be exactly equal...You never knew what might come in handy. With a heavy grunt, Xardius pivoted and slammed his sword towards Kardas...

It never got that far. Kardas' mouth disproportioned and swallowed Chomper's blade whole.

Xardius held up the handle and inch of blade that remained of the once six foot sword and looked behind him at Kardas. Kardas crunched up the remains of Chomper and swallowed.

"Hungry," he drooled.

"Meathead," Xardius snapped as Kardas charged again.

Xardius dropped his sword, and drew his fist back. Fire blossomed from fist to elbow as Kardas' mouth gaped wide. Xardius slammed in a vicious uppercut that sent Kardas reeling back, his mouth slamming shut with an audible crack.

Kardas hit the ground, rolled, and ran forward as if he hadn't felt the blow. But Xardius was ready. With a roar, he released the charged fire bomb he'd prepared as Kardas sprang at him. The bomb clipped Kardas on the side, and spun him around so he slammed into the ground with a heavy crash.

Xardius didn't give him time to recover. Snatching up the recreated Chomper, thanks to some quick work from the sword's crystal, he raced forward, and slammed Kardas repeatedly, ending with a massive blow that sent Kardas reeling back into a pile of rubble.

Xardius raced forward into the blob that was Kardas. Arms hardened into blades and slashed away Xardius' sword, then both legs snapped up into Xardius' belly and sent him flying backwards.

Grunting, Xardius flipped to his feet in time to get hit by a heavy one-two from Kardus' heavy punches, smashed by a bloated belly, and smashed into a broken pillar by a spin-kick.

Kardas charged, mouth drooling.

Xardius wiped blood from his mouth. "Happy day," he muttered, and charged forward to meet Kardas.

Kardas' mouth opened huge, wide enough to swallow a truck, but Xardius didn't falter. He leaped straight into the mouth, one foot down on the lower jaw, hand on the upper. With a cry, he unleashed one of his most powerful spells: a condensed supernova located at the back of Kardas' throat.

The concussion sent him reeling back. Shaking his head, he slowly got to his feet, sure of his victory.

Giggling, Kardas sprang to his feet, seemingly unharmed. With a roar, he charged Xardius. Xardius' eyes widened in shock.

Before he could react, Kardas was on him, right arm springing out into a sharpened point. Xardius reeled back but the left arm's blade pinned him to the pillar through the shoulder. Xardius cried out as the right blade slammed into his left eye...

Kardas grinned. "Now you match, pretty boy," he sneered.

And then giggling, he ran away.

Xardius slumped to the ground, blood flowing from his blinded eye.

"XARDIUS!" Marlene screamed. The last thing Xardius thought was: Now I remember who you are...

 

OOC: Dude, seriously, dont control my char just because you did something, IT PISSES ME OFF!!!


BIC: Xeno stood back up and lifted his buster up, and shot at where Kardas ran

 

*Darxess looks at the massive whole in the wall were the deamon left*
*Darxess's jaw drops*
*Jaxed just scoffs*
Darxess:"What the hell was that?!"
*Darxess notices Xardius on the ground*
Darxess:"Xardius?! What happened?!"
*Then Darxess notices that he is unconcious with a bloody eye*
Darxess:"Xardius!"
*Darxess picks Xardius up and begins carrying him to what was left of the medical bay*
*Darxess thinks to himself*
(I need to find out what the heck that was before that thing returns to finish the job)

 

Suddenly a blinding light passes Jaxed's left and swipes past the demon. The light then went up the wall and got onto the demon's back. "JAXED!"

 

Xane tapped Xeno on the shoulder.....

 

OOC: Dude, seriously, take a chill pill. You left. And by the way, um, is Xeno a brotherhood member or not? Because if he is, I have the rights to control him...Not literally, but through the leader of the Brotherhood, Scourge.

Anyhow...

BIC: Xardius groaned and shifted in Darxess' arms. "Darxess? Put me down, I can walk."

Darxess complied, and Xardius raised a hand to his eye. Reaching into his pocket, he withdrew a long strip of bandage that he seemed to have been carrying. Carefully, he tied the bandage around the bleeding socket so it covered it.

"Kardas, one of the highest ranking members of the Brotherhood," Xardius muttered. "That's barely a taste of what we're up against."

 

OOC: Xeno is a brotherhood member

Xeno followed Kardus, with a pissed off look in his eyes

 

"One problem after another..." Nulix muttered "And we haven't seen the Virus, Vecked, or any of the Knight's yet... God, this is just the beginning of our problems..." He spat "...Why is the universe against us?"

 

Xane stepped in front of Xeno.

"Where're you going?" he asked. "You're going to answer some questions...Like why are you here?" Xane said as he cracked his knuckles.

 

Kardas sneered as he disappeared into the shadows like the darkness itself...

Xardius sighed. "Yes, we do seem to have our share of problems don't we?"

He touched his blinded eye and winced. "Still, we'll prevail. Every problem can be solved...with the right solution."

He frowned. "Perhaps we need to find the solution before we take care of the problems..."

OOC: Xardius is talking to Nulix, FYI.

 

Nulix looked at him with a raised eyebrow, a puzzled expresion on his face...

He walked silently through the glass hall’s, wire’s lay on the ground that he stepped on, sparking on every touch. His dark navy blue eye’s with a hint of yellow flew from the hall’s in front of him to his hand that lay in his pocket. He lifted his hand to his eyesight and read what it held. A small note, his eye’s flew on it, rereading it once again…

Vecked’s eye’s traced the card over and over, it was so… Sudden, so rushed. It had no answers, it held no reason. Smart, it baited the recipient to go for a reason, and even if you realized it… You would still take the bait, wanting an answer.

Vecked sighed, the only clue as too what might happen was the line ‘Ziet’s Head has acknowledged you’. Ziet was the name of the Time Wielding Organization Vecked had been lucky enough to join even if it had not been completely willful, Ziet was named after the god Ziet, also known as the Virus.

So the head of Ziet would mean the Organization of Ziet’s Leader… The Higher up, the one who was above the rest, the one who controlled the most powerful humans in the known world. How did he control them? Simple, the thought of the end, the thought of defeat… The constant urge that he could see into the future and see disaster motivated these people, these gifted people who could control time into following his rule’s. Of course, Time… Is in fact… Separate then the Universe, for when the Universe ended… Time still existed. Time was the most powerful alien element in the world. If the Time user’s knew this they would go mad with power, they could not die. For they where… Alien’s. Gifted with the imposable. They would be invincible. But Vecked knew… And Ziet’s leader knew… And the Ultimate Organization… Knew.

BIC: Xardius saw Nulix's expression and enlightened him.

"What I'm saying is that though something may seem at first to be unsolvable, such as an opponent's mastery of the sword, that opponent will always have a weak link that you can exploit. That is, if you have the necessary skill to shatter that weak link."

EDIT OOC: This by the way, is mostly accurate to Kardas, though he has a dark symbol on his forehead.

 

"Ah..." Nulix muttered understanding "What does this Brotherhood want?"​

 

"They want nothing more than the total destruction of the worlds, the deletion of Kingdom Hearts, and death, destruction, and misery on a scale that makes the Virus' pathetic toil seem like an ant hill compared to a mountain," Marlene said, stepping forward out of the shadows.

"Marlene," Xardius said, his eye catching the light and seeming to burn an intense blue.

"So you finally do remember," Marlene sighed, her breath visible in the rapidly chilling air. "I'm so touched."

Frost suddenly began coating the ground and Marlene stretched forth her hands. "But you're quite too late," Marlene said. "You see, I'm not Marlene."

Her form shifted slightly, her hair becoming slightly less golden, her eyes a more dull blue.

"It's Teresa," she said, her eyes burning. "Remember me yet?"

Xardius gulped audibly. "Oops."

 

Xane decided to let Xeno be and wandered to see why Xardius was in trouble with this lady...

 

"Wait!? What! Who's this!? And what about the Virus?! It's still in Kingdom Hearts, we have nothing to worry about..." Nulix yelled out confused...​

 

"Perhaps I'd better explain," Tyre said, dropping from the ceiling. "Xardius seems quite unable to speak at the moment."

It was quite true. Xardius was gaping like a fish and a vein was pulsing.

"Xardius was once an inhabitant of what you would call Dark City, or more accurately New York City of Earth. Organization XIII invaded and destroyed his world. He wandered off, became tutor to Rune, who was actually Scourge, the leader of the Brotherhood, though Xardius didn't know that at the time. When he found out, he defeated Scourge with his newly acquired Phoenix powers and left him in a dungeon in Dark City. Xardius then joined the Guardians of Larenska, became a Nobody, and now you have him here today.

"Marlene was actually a dear friend of his before the invasion of Organization XIII, but, however, she was killed in the opening of the massive cavern that Organization XIII ripped open in the middle of the city. Teresa, on the other hand, was Marlene's sister and, taking advantage of her sister's vacancy, became Xardius's fiance after several years. However, Teresa herself was killed by Organization XIII...however, as you can see, neither Teresa nor Marlene are dead.

"How is this possible you might ask? Well, have you ever heard the lyrics: If I could fall into the sky, do you think time would pass me by?

"Er, it's true, apparently. Because Marlene survived...before she was 'rescued' by Scourge. And Teresa as well. Of course, they both still love Xardius..."

"That's far enough," Teresa muttered. "You left out a portion. He ditched me. He ditched me before we could get married. He never loved me...only Marlene."

"Teresa," Xardius moaned. "I couldn't...I couldn't let you get hurt..."

"What Xardius means is," Tyre put in happily, "is that he had numerous other girlfriends before Teresa, after Marlene. However, each of them had various unnatural deaths, so Xardius got the paranoia that whoever he loved would turn out dead. Therefore, he broke the engagement..."

"And now that my speech is over, I take my leave," Tyre said cheerfully, and trotted off.

Teresa opened a portal. "It never was true Xardius. I never died."

And she disappeared.

OOC: And in case you're wondering what the point of that was...HAH HAH THERE WAS NONE! Other than the fact that you got two major points on how to defeat two otherwise formidable Brotherhood members...
