She smiled and put her head back down on the table. She loved the coolness that came from it from teh different position. She still smiled.
"I do worry about you sometimes," she said, closing her eyes.

 

He hugged her and said "Thanks, but you don't have to. I can take care of myself."

 

"As can I," she said chuckling more.

 

"Yes, but I still worry about you." he said.

 

She sighed.
"There's nothing to worry about," she said.

 

"Except two of our friends are fighting a bad dude nearby." he said.

 

Her smile disappeared and her face went straight.
"Oh," she said plainly. She opened her eyes and felt a little dizzy at the moment. She rubbed her eyes and tried to see what Jecht was doing, but the energy she was using was focused on the barrier.

 

"Do you need more energy? I've got pleanty." he said.

 

She chuckled.
"I'm fine," she said.

 

"Are you sure?" he asked. "You look a little tired."

 

"I'm fine," she said, trying to be assuringly, but the truth was she was ready to just fall asleep at anytime, but she didn't want Sean to know.

 

"Alright. But if you fall asleep again I'm waking you up and giving you more of my energy." he said.

 

She chuckled.
"No," she said opening her eyes, looking up at Sean.
"Don't, please. I don't want anything to happen to you," she said, her eyes starting to turn glossy from tears ready to form in her eyes.

 

"Don't worry." he said. "I have plenty of energy."

 

She still frowned and she closed her eyes, feeling a few tears go down her cheek. It didn't matter anymore, there was no point in arguing.

 

He rubbed her back to comfort her. "Why are you crying?" he asked.

 

"Because just the thought of something happening to you makes me feel so bad because of me," she said

 

"Nothing's going to happen to me." he said, hugging her. "I promise."

 

She nodded and wiped away her tears.

 

He gave her a quick kiss on the lips and rubbed her back again.
