She smiled and put her head down on the table again, feeling the coolness over the surface. She smiled as it felt wonderful against her warm face.
"Thanks," she said smiling.

 

"You're welcome." he said. He smiled back at her.

 

Natalie took a deep breath and closed her eyes trying to think for a few seconds, and trying to relax.

 

He sat there and let her relax.

 

Natalie heard the silence for a few seconds. She thought he left, so she opened her eyes to see if he did.
She saw him in the same spot and she smiled. She closed her eyes again, hoping not to fall asleep, but only to rest. She couldn't rest until Jecht gave word that it was safe.

 

He rubbed her back to help her relax.

 

She smiled and opened her eyes
"Thanks," she said, taking his hand in hers.

 

"No problem." he said, continuing to rub her back.

 

She closed her eyes and tried to rest more, but it wasn't easy trying to relax and keep the barrier up at the same time. She felt stressed and she even chuckled softly.

 

"What's so funny?" he asked.

 

"Nothing," she said with a smile. She tried to rest a little more, but then she fell asleep, bringing down the barrier.

 

He noticed the barrier going down and shook her to wake her up.

 

She opened her eyes and groaned while chuckling. She tried to concentrate to put the barrier back up. Once it was up and closed her eyes again.
"Sorry," She said softly.

 

"You need more energy." he said, putting his hand on her shoulder.

 

"No, its okay.. " she said taking his hand off her shoulder. She didn't want to take any more of his energy.

 

"You need it to keep the barrier up." he said. "I don't want the school to be destroyed."

 

"Don't worry about me. I'll keep it up," she said smiling.

 

"Alright. But you need more energy to stay awake." he said. He put his hand on her shoulder and gave her a little bit more energy.

 

She smiled.
"I love it that you care about me, but you need to think of yourself. If you give me too much, then i'm afraid something will happen to you," she said sitting up. She felt better lying down, but at the time she didn't feel like lying her head back down.

 

"Don't worry about me." he said. "I'll be fine."
