She grabbed her damp towel and started to dry her hair.
"So what is first on the agenda?" she asked,

 

"Well, I was thinking I could make us breakfast."

 

She smiled...
"That sounds wonderful," she said still smiling.

 

"Shall we go to the kitchen?" he asked, offering his arm.

 

She chuckled.
"We shall," she said taking his arm.

 

He smiled and led her to the kitchen.

 

"Would you like me to help you?" she asked once they reached the kitchen

 

"You just sit back and watch me. I want this to be special." he said. He started making pancakes.

 

She nodded and hopped up on the counter, sitting next to the stove. She watched him and smiled

 

"How many pancakes do you want?"

 

"Two will be fine," she said then leaned over to kiss his cheek.

 

He turned his head to speak to her, but their lips connected and they kissed.

 

She didn't expect to kiss his lips, but she did. She leaned back and smiled

He smiled back at her.

She blushed and leaned over to the side and burned her hand on the stove..
"Oww," she said softly pulling her hand back. She chuckled at herself

 

"You okay?" he asked, worried.

 

"I'm fine," she chuckled holding her hand close to her chest.

 

"You sure?" he asked.

 

She nodded, then jumped off the counter walking to the sink. She ran cold water and put her hand under it.
"I'll be fine. Just make sure you don't burn down the kitchen," she chuckled

 

"I won't." he said, finishing making the rest of the pancakes.
