Cloud moved his legs. "I can move!" He thoguht to himself and opened his eyes and sat up, shaking his head,

 

Aerith smiled. "You finally moved!"

 

"Where...am I?" he asked himself as to try and get his bearings.

 

"A church in the Sector 5 slums. The roof and garden must've broken your fall."

 

"Garden...?" Cloud asked hismelf and noticed he was in a florwerbed and stood up quickly. "Sorry." He said in apology.

 

"It's alright. Although they say you can't grow grass in Midgar, the flowers love it here because this is a holy place."

 

Cloud thought about it, it was true that flowers were certainly rare in Midgar's walls then he looked at the woman. "You're that..." he remember back at the destruction of the reactor and that he gave her 1 gil for a flower.

 

"It seemed we were meant to meet more once. Thank you for buying my flowers."

 

"Not a problem..." He said to the girl as he stepped away from the flowers to ensure he didn't crush anymore.

 

"Do you have some materia?"

 

"A few...why...could it be you don't know how to use it?" Cloud asked her

 

"Oh, I know how. But mine is special. It's good for no reason, but also it belonged to my mother."

 

"Oh I see..." CLoud said, deciding not to delve too deep into this girl's past.

 

"Since we're meeting again, what's your name? I'm Aerith, the flower girl."

 

"Cloud, a mercenary." Cloud said to her.

 

"Are you a Jack-of-all-Trades?"

 

"I suppose you could say that..." Cloud said thoughtfully.

 

"Than you can be my bodyguard!" Aerith had a big smile on her face.

 

"Bodyguard...? I don't come for free y'know." Cloud stated.

 

"Your payment of being my bodyguard will be one date." Aerith smiled at him.
