Jessie soon explained what the reason for the train incident was about as Cloud the others made their way to the reactor, but first they had to slide down the pipe and they did so as they mede their way to the central core btu cloud walked forward and held his head as he fell to the floor.

Cloud was dreaming as he saw a younger Tifa wearing a cowgirl hat and before her was a dead man beside her as she was crying, nearby was a unexplainable long katana which had traces of blood.

 

Tifa knelt by Cloud's side, hoping he was okay.

 

Cloud soon awakened. "Hey kid, you alright?" Dante asked him as Cloud stood up. "Tifa..." he stared at her for a moment then looked back to the reactor. "No…forget…… Come on, let's hurry!" he said he regained his senses and set teh bomb as the group ran for the entrance but a gate was closed.

"Jessie said we'd hafta press this at the same time." He said but Dante just walked up to the console and withotu warning, he bashed his fist into it as it sparkled and the gate opened and he brushed his hand as there was no damage.

"I got it open didn't I?" he asked them as they continued on and were outside on the bridge as Barret went ina direction only to return a sthey were surrounded. "Shinra Soliders!? Damn!" He said as Cloud stated soemthign simply.

"A Trap..." he said and heard footsteps and raito was suprised to see who they belonged to.

"President Shinra?!" He said in surpised as it was indeed the President.

 

Tifa stopped Mayra from attacking, she understood her past history with Shinra, but she still wondered what happened to Cloud.

 

Shinra stared at the group with his his appearance being a bit of fatty with a red suit and blond hair with a blad patch on the top with a yellow mustache, anyone could easily tell this man was weathly and powerful.

"Hmm… So you all must be that... ...what was it?" SHinra asked forgretfully as Barret responded by yelling. "AVALANCHE! And don't ya forget it! And you're President Shinra, huh?" Barret asked almost in anger.

Cloud stepped forward, staring at Shinra with his mako colored eyes. "Long time no see, President." CLoud said with a very calm look.

"…Long time no see? Oh…you. You're the one who quit SOLDIER and joined AVALANCHE. I knew you'd been exposed to Mako, from the look in your eyes… Tell me, traitor, what was your name?" Shinra asked Cloud

"Cloud." He gave his name with no concern.

"Forgive me for asking, but I can't be expected to remember each person's name. Unless you become another Sephiroth. Yes, Sephiroth… He was brilliant. Perhaps too brilliant…" Presdient Shinra trailed off.

"Sephiroth...?" Cloud asked himself quietly as Barret spoke up. "Don't give a damn 'bout none of that! This place's goin' up with a big BANG soon! Serves y'all right!"

"And such a waste of good fireworks, just to get rid of vermin like you…" He said very easily.

"VERMIN!? That's all you can say…VERMIN! Y'all Shinra're the VERMIN, killing the planet! And that makes you King VERMIN! So shu'up!"

"…You are beginning to bore me. I'm a very busy man, so if you'll excuse me…I have a dinner I must attend." Shinra said boredly.

"Dinner!? Don't gimme that! I ain't even start wit' you yet!"

Shinra stared the group. "But I've made arrangements for a playmate for you all." He said as he pressed a button a remote as a noise was heard and a robot arrived on the scene from one of the exits.

"The hell is this!?" Barret asked in surprise.

Shinra started to explain as he smiled. "Meet 'Airbuster', a techno-soldier. Our Weapon Development Department created him. I'm sure the data he'll extract from your dead bodies will be of great use to us in future experiments." He said as Cloud stared at the Airbuster. "Tenchno-soldier?" he asked himself as a helicopter flew behind Shinra.

"Now if you'll exucse me." He said as he climbed in.

"Wait! President!" CLoud called out but he was gone but then teh airbuster evved forward, seperating the group. so there could easily be pincer attack.

"Yo Cloud, we gotta do somethin' about 'im!" Barret said as he cocked his gun arm.

 

"This thing isn't really from SOLDIER, is it?" Mayra asked, sounding very pissed for some reason.

 

"No it's just a machine." CLoud said as he reached for hsi Buster Sword while Nero revved his Red Queen, a unique sword with use fuel and ignition to add force to his attacks, so far, this version was wielded by none other than himself

Dante just was very relaxed. "Sad thing is, I won't get much of a reaction out of this thing." Dante said a bit disappointed, he loved his moments of ticking off demons and defeating them.

Raito looked at Dante as he pulled out his Tyrant. "Look at it this way, it's something new."

"I suppose." Dante said in response as he pulled out Ebony and Ivory.

 

Mayra placed a arrow in her bow, the Heavens Wood, while Tifa sent a punch.

 

Dante shot rounds out of Ebony and Ivory as Nero quickly ran beuind it and slashed across, slightly revving Red Queen to give it that extra damage as Raito thrust his sword into the machine's gut and pulled it otu, revaling machinery.

Cloud raised his Buster Sword as it glowed in ablue light as he leapt up and brought it down upon the exposed back of the Airbuster, executing Braver.

Barret fired rounds from hsi gun arm.

 

Mayra shot three arrows while Tifa did Beat Rush.

 

Barret fired off a big shot and then Nero thrusted his arm demonic arm foward, sending the 'Airbuster' in the air then ti crashed down as it started fizzing.

"It's...!" Raito couldn't say more as Airbuster exploded and Cloud wa son the other side, hanging onto a bit of pole sticking out from the the used to be pathway.

"Cloud!" Barret checked the distance and knew he couldn't reach him in time. "I'm losing my grip!" Cloud said as he tried holding otu as long as possible

 

"Cloud, you can't die! There's so much I want to talk about with you!" Tifa shouted, crying hard.

 

"I know Tifa..." He said as he struggled to hold on. "You gonna be awright?"

Damnit! I can't hold out much longer...Barret! Get going!!" He yelled to him as Barret looked at him as Cloud lost his grip as the reactor exploded and Raito quickly covered Tifa as Dante and Nero nodded to each other.

"Let's go, we'll catch up with the kid later." Dante said as he ran off as Nero followed as Barret quickly pursuited them as Raito looked at Tifa.

"It's all right Tifa, Cloud's Cloud, I'm sure we'll meet up again btu for now, we gotta get moving." Raito said as he noticed she was still crying and he had no choice but to carry her.

 

Tifa sighed.

Aerith entered the church and saw someone lying in the garden. She nearly gasped at him.

 

Cloud lay in the flower garden after falling from teh reactor, ti was honestly a miracle he wasn't even broken from the sheer height coupled with the gravity.

 

Aerith knelt beside him and shouted, "Hello, hello!"

 

"Who's there?" Cloud asked as his eyes were closed, eh thought was dreaming.

 

Aerith shouted again, "Hello, hello!" She vaguely remembering this before.

 

Cloud felt like he couldn't move. "I can't move..." he said to hismelf, unaware there was someone else.

 

Aerith thought for a moment and cast Cure on him.
