Demons of Gaea: Devil May Cry/Final Fantasy VII

Cloud decided to think back to seven years old and found himself remembering his hometown of Nibelhiem at night and the well that was in the center of the town.

 

"You remember, now? Our promise......." Tifa looked at him, weeping her eyes.

 

"I'm not a hero and I'm not famous. I can't keep……the promise." Cloud said uncertainly.

 

"But you got your childhood dream, didn't you? You joined SOLDIER." Tifa said to him.

 

Barret climbed up and appeared on the scene. "Wait a sec big-time SOLDIER! A promise is a promise! Here!!" Barret handed Cloud 1500 gil.

"This is my pay? Don't make me laugh." He said calmly

 

"What? Then you'll..." Tifa smiled at him, realizing what he was going to say.

 

"You got the next mission lined up? I'll do it for 3000." Cloud said calmly.

"What....!?" Barret said in surprise and almost in anger.

 

Tifa ran to Barret and whispered in his ear, "It's ok, it's ok! We were really hurting for help, right?"

 

"Uh…ugh… That money's for Marlene's schoolin'…" He whispered back to Tifa and stared at CLoud. "2000!"

 

Tifa turned to Cloud and smiled. "Thanks, Cloud!"

 

Cloud just waved it off and headed off to turn in as Dante, nero and raito and everyone else did the same.

 

Mayra fell asleep fast as Tifa laid next to Cloud.

 

Dante slept ona chair and had his feet on teh table as Nero just slept with his back to to the wall while he sat down and Raito just slept on the floor and Barret slept too

 

Tifa smiled as she laid with Cloud.

 

Morning soon broke out as Dante stood outside the bar, strenching.

 

Mayra was checking her quiver of bows as Tifa did some practice punches.

 

Nero checked his Blue Rose as he loaded some ammunition in it and his Red Queen's state.

Raito was checking his sword as Cloud came up by the elevator.

"Our next target's the Sector 5 Reactor. Head for the station first. I'll fill you in on the train. Yo! Cloud! Before the next mission, I got somethin' I wanna ask you! I, uh, ……I don't really know how to use Materia! I'll give you that Materia you found. Just teach me how to use it!" Barret asked CLoud as he sighed and explained how Materia works.

 

"Has anyone seen Dante?" Tifa asked as she and Mayra placed Materia in their weapons. She picked up a bag of materia she prepared for Dante.

 

Nero looked at Tifa. "He's standing outside to strench." Nero said to her but Dante always seemed to be the first one up, probably from his years of hunting demons.

Barret did get confused but then spoke. "Well, you handle the Materia then!" He said as Cloud just shurgged his shoulders, nto caring if the job was pushed upon him.

 

Tifa remembered something. "Cloud, I have a message from the guy at the Weapon shop. He has something for you."
