Reno grinned."Well nice to meet ya."he said chuckling a bit.

Nero grinned as he swung out his pistol and fired at the shadows.Two of the shadows were hit by the shoots and were killed.One of the launched its spear at Nero but he quickly doged and fired at the remaining shadows.The shadows disappated.Nero turned to the women.
"Are you alright." he asked.

 

"I'm fine. Thank you." The woman smiled.

Kyrie began to sing.

 

The Guard Scropion raised it's tail as Cloud noticed what this meant. "It's tail is raised and ready to attack, it's a powerful attack but it's also a weak spot." Cloud called out as Barret just crossed his arms as Cloud cast Fire upon Guard Scorpion

Dante just ran and leapt up onto Guard Scorpion as it tried to shake him off. "Woah, easy fella!" Dante said, obivously taking this robot as a small ride to entertain himself as he pointed his guns at the exposed part and shot a few rounds into it as the Guard Scorpion fell with Dante still on top on it, looking victorious as he placed Ebony and Ivory back into it's holsters. "Well, that's a letdown, I was hoping for something more exciting." Dante said in a tone of disappointment until the Guard Scorpion sparked dangerously.

"Get offa there!" Barret called out as Dante just grinned and let off with a simple jump and took a few steps before Guard Scorpion exploded as the air from it forced his red trenchcoat forwards as Dante just stood there. "Now that's more like it!" Dante said and Barret shook his head as the countdown began.

"Let's get movin'!" Barret said as he ran back from where they came as Dante just watched him and Cloud followed in pursuit as did Mayra as he sighed. "Ruined the moment Barret." Dante said in disappiontment and started running as he was behind the three in mere seconds.

Raito stared up at the plate as some people exited the 7th Heaven or raher, not many as most people came to the bar to see the bartender, Tifa Lockhart to chat her up as Raito sat on the landing space that was in front of the bar, he needed fresh air, no-one really knew that the bar was also home to AVALANCE's base of operations.

"I'll need something good to drink when people get out of the bar." Raito said in a sigh, he also had to be careful not to drink in front of Marlene, Barret's daughter as to not give her the wrong idea and also, to stay in barret's good side or have bullets fired soley at him.

 

Mayra just followed everyone out of the reactor.

 

On the way Cloud freed Jessie from having her leg trapped as the group ran out of the reactor until it exploded.

Raito heard the explosion as the residents of Sector 7 heard it as well. "Well, looks like they got the job done." He thought to himself.

Wedge was planting a bomb in the collasped piece of rubble so that SHin-Ra wouldn't catch up with them and to delay the reactor's repair forces. "Now get back!" He said a sthey all ran and the group emerged from a fiery tunnel as Wedge ran with his butt on fire.

"All righ' eveyone, back to the hideout, find a way onto teh train!" Barret said as the group split up "hey! What about my money?" he asked him and Barret looked at him.

"We'll talk about yer money when we return to the hideout." Barret said and left as Cloud sighed a little as he followed him in the same direction as did Dante until CLoud noticed a flowergirl approach him.

"What is it?" He asked her.

Dante soon appeared and saw someoen familar. "Well, if it isn't the kid." Dante said in a grin as he stared at Nero.

 

"Excuse me, what has happened?" The woman asked.

 

"Nothing… hey, listen... Don't see many flowers around here." Cloud said as his eyes spotte dteh flowers the girl had, flower were a very rare sight in Midgar since the plate covered up the sun.

 

"Oh, do you like these? They're only a gil."

 

"I'll buy one." CLoud said as he handed the flowergirl a gil.

 

The flowergirl took the gil and handed him a flower, then walked off.

 

Reno still stood at Kyrie's cell.He listend to her sing."Nice voice.."he commented.

 

Dante just shrugged his shoulders at Nero not responding to his comment. "Come on Kid, lighten up."

 

Cloud walked in the same direction as Dante did was well with Nero in tow until he heard something, fast paced steps, it was Shinra's soldiers with those ugly blue uniforms and wielding those machine guns.

"Can't they have some originality?" Dante thought to himself with a sigh.

"Halt!" One answered but Cloud immediately ran as Dante just walked calmly with hands behind his head as the soldiers fired their ammo which didn't bother him but more soldiers were blocking every available exit until the three were boxed in and the only way to escape was jump onto the railroad tracks, no-one would be that stupid.

"There's nowhere for you to run now!" A solider said confidently and CLoud just shook his head. "Sorry, I just don't have the time to deal with you right now." Cloud said calmly until a train whistle was heard from the tunnel.

"Our ride's here, can't stop and chat!" Dante said and grabbed ahold of Nero by his hoodie and pulled him along as Dante and Cloud jumped off and landed straight on the roof of the train that exited the tunnel as it soon went into another tunnel

 

Mayra and the others were in the car when they heard a noise on the roof.

Kyrie continued to sing.

Wedge looked the others. "Cloud and the others never came." He said sadly as Biggs looked down. "Cloud....Wonder if he was killed?"

"No Way!!" Barret said angrily as Jessie looked down, upset. "Cloud..."

Biggs looked at Barret. "Say, do you think Cloud's…… Going to fight to the end for AVALANCHE!?" He asked him in hope.

"The hell would I know!? Do I look like a mind reader? Hmph!! If y'all weren't such screw-ups…" Barret trailed off in his voice

"Hey Barret! What about our money...?" Wedge asked him and all eh got for a reply was Barret slamming his mechinal hand slamming ontoa crate. "Uh...nothin...sorry" Wedge quickly apologized.

They heard noises comign from the sliding door. "Ahh..." someone said outside teh train and they heard another voice. "Hurry up and open the door kid!" as it slid open and Cloud flipped hismelf inside as did Dante and Nero, all covered in soot.

"Cloud! Dante! Nero!" Everyone minus Barret say in one word as Dante brushed the soot off his coat. "Now my coat's all dirty..." He said as if it was something troublesome as Nero did the same. "No-one would jump onto a moving train Dante." He said to him as Dante just grinned.

"Hey, it worked at least kid." he responded to him and Nero sighed. "When are you going to stop calling me that?" he asked him and Dante gave no definite answer.

"Looks like we're late." CLoud simply said and barret glared at the blonde. "You damn right, you're late!! Come waltzin' in here makin' a big scene!" he said at them and Cloud just shrugged his shoulders. "It's no big deal, it's what I always do." Cloud simply responded.

"Havin' everyone worried like that you don't give a damn 'bout no one but yourself!" Barret angrily said at them and Dante grinned.

"Hmm... So you were worried about us!" Dante said with a cocky smile and Barret looked at him. "Wha!? I'm takin' it outta your money, hot stuff! Wake up! We're movin' out! Follow me!" Barret said and jumped over a crate to reach the door and enter the next cab.

Wedge smiled at the three. "Hey!! You were great back there!" he said and follwoed suit.

Biggs tried not to laugh and spoke. "Heh heh... We'll do even better next time." He said with joy and followed Wedge as Jessie came forward and shut the door."Be careful I'll shut this. Oh, Cloud!! Your face is pitch-black…" Jessie ewiped Cloud's face clean. "There you go!! Say, thanks for helping me back there at the Reactor!" She said and followed the others.

"You're a lucky guy kid." Dante said, pretending to be jealous and just walked to the next car as Nero followed suit then Cloud himself.

 

"What took you guys so long?" Mayra asked as she followed.

 

Nero just looked at Mayra. "Was held up by those soldiers briefly and the way those two saw it, jumping on a moving train was the only way to avoid any unnecessary bloodshed." he simply said in response

Barret's anger sent some passengers in teh car up ahead, giving them almost the car to themselves as Dante quickly sat down and crossed his legs with his Rebellion taken off and laying angled against a seat.

"Last train out of Sector 8 Station. Last stop is Sector 7, Train Graveyard. Expected time of arrival is 12:23AM, Midgar Standard Time..." the Conductor's voice sounded in the car.

Cloud noticed Jessie calling him over and he went to her as the small screen isndie shown a diagram of Midgar. "Hey, Cloud. You want to look at this with me? It's a map of the Midgar Railing System. Let's look at it together. I'll explain it to you. I like this kinda stuff. Bombs and monitors…you know, flashy stuff. Okay, it's about to start. This is a complete model of city of Midgar. It's about 1/10000 scale. The top plate is about 50 meters above ground. A main support structure holds the plate up in the center, and there are other support structures built in each section… …psst…whisper…whisper… (The No. 1 Reactor we blew up was in the northern section.) Then there's No. 2, No. 3 all the way up to the No. 8 Reactor. The 8 Reactors provide Midgar with electricity. Each town used to have a name, but no one in Midgar remembers them. Instead of names, we refer to them by numbered sectors. That's the kind of place this is. Phew…, this is next! Look. This is the route this train is on. The route spirals around the main support structure. We should be coming around the center area, right now. At each checkpoint, an ID sensor device is set up. It can check the identities and background on each and every passenger on the train by linking it up to the central data bank at Shinra Headquarters." She said, taking a breather as the car turned red.

"Speak of the devil… That light means that we're in the ID Security Check area.) …whisper… whisper… (When the lights go off, you never know what kind of creeps'll come out.) …anyhow, we're almost back now. That's a relief." Jessie said

Cloud walked to Barret next and heard him talk. "Look…you can see the surface now. This city don't have no day or night. If that plate weren't there…we could see the sky." he said as he looked out the car window.

"A floating city... Pretty unsettling scenery." Cloud said in response which sounded unatural for him to say as Barret got out of his seat. "Huh? Never expect ta hear that outta someone like you. …you jes' full of surprise. The upper world…a city on a plate… It's 'cuz of that pizza', that people underneath are sufferin'! And the city below is full of polluted air. On topa that, the Reactor keeps drainin' up all the energy."

Dante then spoke up. "If it's so troublesome, why not move up the plate?" He asked aloud and Barret shrugged his shoulders. "Dunno. Probably 'cuz they ain't got no money. Or, maybe… 'Cuz they love their land, no matter how polluted it gets."

Cloud looked at Barret. "I know…no one lives in the slums because they want to. It's like this train. It can't run anywhere except where its rails take it." he said and looked out to the plate again.

 

Mayra sat down and looked out the window.

 

The train soon arrived at the station as everyone exited out and Barret spoke to everyone.

"This mission was a success. But don't get lazy now. The hard part's still to come! Don't y'all be scared of that explosion! 'Cause the next one's gonna be bigger than that! Meet back at the hideout!! Move out!
" He said as he ran to teh 7th Heaven Bar as did the others.

Raito spotted Barret quickly and sighed and entered inside the bar as people had packed it as Raito noticed the female bartender was serving drinks.

"Hey guys, I ought to leave now while you still got the chance." He said and one of the men laughed. "Why's that boy? You tryin' to ruin our fun?" he asked, sizing up Raito.

"Because he's coming here." he said but it was too late as Barret entered and Raito quickly side stepped out of entrance way as from outside the bar, bullets were heard as the occupants ran out and Barret stared at Raito briefly before exiting out to stand guard when Cloud approached him

"Ok! Go ahead." He said as Cloud entered along with Dante and Nero.

Tifa was doing her usual job when she saw Dante and pulled out a strawberry sundae and placed it on the counter top. Marlene shouted, "Papa!" but hid when she saw Cloud. Tifa sighed and followed her. "Marlene, aren't you saying hi to Cloud?"

"How was the mission? You alright?" She asked, walking to him.
