Demons and Heroes

"I have no orb!" he said. He found out Natalie had no pulse and cried. "You killed her! I'LL KILL YOU!" He charged at him, drawing his sword.

 

Dameon dodged his attack...
"You'll kill me? Heh.. you're just a waste of my time.." he said then pulled out his katana...
"You think killing me will bring that wench back?" he asked.

 

"DON'T TALK ABOUT HER LIKE THAT!" he yelled, still crying.

 

Dameon looked at him crying...
"You're weak... over that girl.....She's got you torn up... Trust me.. you're better off without her..." he said.. The Ice orb in his pocket glowed.. He looke down at it..
"Heh... shes trying to make contact.. Her body might not be alive.. but her soul is in the darkness...It alsmot makes me smile to see such a tortured soul lost in the darkness," he said.

 

He then got a crazy idea. He grabbed for the orb.

 

Dameon jumped back.. He pulled the or out of his pocket and held it in his hands..
"Maybe I should just destroy this orb.....I mean without it...she can't live" he said clenching it in his hands tight...

 

"NO!" he said, electrocuting him.

 

Dameon's reaction caused him to drop the orb...
"Dammit...Just take the orb... take it and give that wench back her life.. so One day I can make you witness her slow and painful death," he said then warped away..

 

He grabbed the orb and put it back inside Natalie.

 

Natalie opened her eyes slowly as she started breathing again...She looked up at Cole and saw the darkness go away...A few stray tears went down her cheeks.

 

He smiled and wept. "You're alive." he whispered. He hugged her.

 

She hugged him and sobbed...
"Cole....I'm sorry I left.. I...I couldn't help it," she said crying.

 

"All that matters is that you are alive and safe."

 

Natalie nodded...
"You're right..." she said still crying..

 

He wiped away her tears and kissed her on the lips.

 

Natalie kissed him back.. She was a bit shaken from the death experience.. She closed her eyes slowly as she kissed him passionatly...

 

He kissed her just as passionatly as she kissed him.

 

She held onto the kiss for a few seconds until an image shot through her head.. She jerked back and her eyes shot open... She breathed heavily as she looked at Cole...

 

"What's wrong?" he asked.

 

"I'm sorry... I just had an image go through my mind..." she said putting her hand up to her head..
