"Gharanth..." Twilight lay her head against him. "You are not my slave, but my friend and I would never ask you to do something you do not wish to do. But if standing beside me is what you want, i'm more than happy." She leaned up on her tiptoes and brushed her lips lightly along his.

 

He literally swept her off her feet, picking her up in his arms. "I will always be a slave to your heart and I would not have it any other way. Command me my lady and I will obey. I will be your champion."

Gharanth felt happier than he had in a long time. Twilight was perfect. The balance to his harsh warrior life. He would never leave this happiness.

 

"Well then champion..." She laughed lightly and took his hand pulling him into a clearing and drawing her feather looking blade. "Will you teach me to fight, my warrior, so as i may help you when needed?"

 

"Whatever my lady desires."

He bowed and drew a short sword which was for him comparable to what she had. "You must first learn to parry and defend yourself from harm." He took her through the various parrying positions.

"Now you try."

Twilight did the stances quickly. "I know this stuff, My warrior. If i truely want to defend myself though, i need experiance. I want you to fight me. Just a friendly compotion." She added quickly. "We can stop whenever. No harm done."
She smiled, stepping up close and staring into his eyes. "That is...unless you're afraid."

 

Gharanth smiled. "Only of hurting you by accident. Any minor wound to my lady would wound my heart. But en guard!"

He held the sword in front of him and went through a series of attacks pulling short of actually hitting her. He was a very experienced sword fighter and used the weapon as an extension of his arm, moving with ease and exact poise. He smiled as he fought.

 

Twilight moved without force but speed. She arched her body out of the way of each attack with measured steps, grinning into his eyes as she looked for a way towards him. He was strong. That was certain.
"Don't you dare go easy on me, Gharanth, my friend."
She laughed, bringing her sword up to clash with his.

 

"Would I do such a thing?"

Mischief sparkled in his eyes as he sped up, using more force and making sure that the swords really did clash. He Worked methodically, just as he used to train the young recruits all those years ago.

 

Twilight smiled hypnotizingly as Gharanth picked up the pace. She was glad he wasn't going all soft on her just cause she was a girl. She didn't need brute strength to fight.
"Think fast."
She twisted around and put her palm on the outside of his sword arm, useing it to turn around him so she was in back of him.
She didn't need strength. She needed speed.

 

He swung the sword behind him blocking her.

"You have to predict your opponent's moves if you want to survive. So you are a dancer. Well I can dance also."

He weaved and dodged, striking at her with the flat of his blade. He used more strength so that the clashes would make the swords ring.

 

"Prediction huh?" She laughed gentally and ducked, crouching low and pulling a short blade from her boot. She jumped up and slashed at him with the shorter blade, comming up with one and blocking with the other. She made shure she was far enough away as not to actually do damage if he didn't block.

 

He created a fire ball and made it flare in front of her without harming her.

"The enemy will use every dirty trick in the book. The hidden blade is good. Can you fight without using your eyes though. Shall we try fighting blindfolded?"

 

Twilight scratched her chin. "Why not? Please forgive me if I make a mistake."
She kept her fear hidden. She didn't want to slip and hurt him.

 

He smiled and produced two blindfolds.

"Just remember to keep your sword under control and worry about your own safety. I've been doing this training for a long time and I know what I am doing. I can also heal myself with the nature orb so don't panic. Just relax and remember you have five senses, not just one."

 

Twilight nodded, putting the blindfold on and holding onto her sword testedly. She breathed slowly and focused on where her feet steped, listening for him.

ooc: ill be gone for like...30 minutes but ill be back right after that.

 

He crept silently from one area to another, making sure he was never in the same place for long. He raised his sword and batted her with the flat of the blade to give her a clue as to where he was.

ooc: Goodnight. G2G. It's late.

 

Cole found her laying in the snow. Thinking she was just unconscious, he brought her back to the cave.

 

Natalie had no pulse.. She knew Cole was there.. She felt him.. but how? She was dead.. She wanted to wake up.. She wanted to see him one last time..


Dameon warped to The cave...
"You...Boy...where is your orb?" he asked pulling out his blade... Dameon did not know he didn't contain an orb..
