Demons and Heroes

Gharanth kissed her again and stroked her hair. "I will protect you as much as I can. I only wish I could do more and not watch on helplessly. I am a person of action, not sitting at the side waiting. I would gladly take your pain."

bic: Twilight smiled gentally, standing and pulling a leaf from her hair. She thought of the destruction she had seen in her head and wondered who the pain had belonged to. She was constantly recieving the burdons of others in her head and she wondered who's torturous thoughts these belonged to.
She glanced at Gharanth And it clicked into place. They were Gharanth's burdons showing in her head.
She wrapped her arm around him tightly. She had to talk to him.

 

Gharanth wrapped his arms around her and smiled at her. "Are you feeling better now? I want to help you and remove the pain you felt. You shouldn't have to bear the pain of others torment."

 

"No...as much as it hurts to see...to feel it..." Her eyes sparkled at him. "It's nice to take some of that pain from them. So they need not bear it alone." She hugged him tightly, seeing a burning town flare before her eyes. "Gharanth...you know i'd love you no matter what you've done in your past...dont you?"

 

"That is good to know as I have done a great many evil things i the past. Mostly I have killed and burned things. I have no excuses as nothing can justify my behavior. My own losses are nothing compared to the hurt I have caused." Gharanth hung his head in shame. "How can you love a monster like me? You are far to pure and good."

 

"Don't speak like that." Twilight ran her hand through his hair. "I see every tortured soul out there. Every second of every day, Gharanth. I know evil. I know monsters." She looked into his eyes, she always saw warmth there. "And i see your troubles too...but you are no monster."

 

Gharanth looked deeply into her gentle eyes. He was hearing words that he would never have believed possible. He leaned down and gently kissed her.

"Thank you for believing in me. Most people wouldn't have bothered. In the past I have been a warrior, a husband and a father, but it was all taken away. Now I thought I was cursed to forever be the monstrous wanderer of legend that can never settle and brings destruction wherever he goes. I can be whatever I want now though thanks to you."

 

She sighed gentally, laying her head against his chest. "I always thought i was lost. I can't remember...anything actually. My memory goes only as far back as when I was 18 years old." She breathed in his scent, blushing slightly. "But the feeling of lonliness is gone. I don't feel lost when im with you."
She took a step back from him so she could look into his eyes.

 

"Sadly my curse is that I remember everything. I wish sometimes that I could forget. There are things in my life that I find painful to think about. I'm not as tough and strong as people think. I too break if I'm pushed too far."

He gazed into her blue eyes, his red orbs glistening with tears of both painful remembrance and deep love. He had nothing to hide and felt that he was no longer alone. He hugged her close and lost himself in the scent on her hair.

 

""You don't have to play the big bad wolf anymore." She brusted the tears from his face. "Ill be there with you though. No matter what you choose to do."

ooc: gotta go again. But ill be back. (stupid little brothers...)

 

"For you I am not the big bad wolf, more the faithful hound who will be by your side come what may and would give his life for you. I am always serious when I give a vow like that so don't worry. Should the situation need it I will die so that you can live. This is my word. I will always be with you. I am your humble servant."

 

"Are you sure?" he asked.

 

jecht mouthed 'im sorry' then shot forward knocking cole away grabbing natalies neck and reaching for her orb tears going down his face

 

"J-JE-JECHT! STOP!" she tried to yell out

 

jecht reached in grabbing the orb and slowly began pulling tears still going down his face

 

"STOP!" Natalie screamed out then pushed him off her.. She knocked him a few yards away and hit the ground.. She grabbed her neck trying to breathe..

 

jecht walked forward like he was struggling with him self he drew his blade

 

Natalie lay there on the ground as tears came from her eyes...
"Jecht....Control yourself.. she said

 

"WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU!" he yelled at Jecht, running over to Natalie.

 

tears still flowing jechts arm slowly reached around to the back of his neck then stoped his arms dropped then darkness surronded him and he vanished
