Your scapegoat if you like? I've done nothing to deserve this yet you paint me as your nemesis. Wake up and smell the coffee, kid. I am probably the best person to help you. I've been there and come out the other side."

 

"Im...im not strong enough though." Aroe squeezed his eyes shut, sliding his blades into their sheaths. "That's what everyone keeps telling me. I'm nothing. I've never been anything. And i never will be."
Aroe stood up, staring at Gharanth, more confused than ever. Why did Gharanth want to help him? A moment ago, he was ready to kill.
"And dont think i haven't tried. Don't tell me i haven't or that i don't understand. I do understand. But..."

 

Aldon:
*sitting in a tree*

They have serious issues to work out....

*looks at his blade*

Aldon2:
Damn!!!
He figured out the sword's secret...
I need to stop him from getting other orbs!!!

*back to real Aldon*
Was I just thinking something?.....

*activates the sword's orb seeking power*

 

"Kid, you are strong enough to fight it. I tested you by accepting your offer to fight. You took it and that takes guts as you know I kicked your backside last time. Ignore the rest of them. I know you have the strength but you have to believe it yourself. If you think you will fail you will make that thought a reality. You have to believe in yourself. Who doubts you? The Heroes? They are losers. Your parents? Well mine thought I was weak. I don't think you're weak but I think you need some reality knocked into you and I'll do it one way or the other."

Aroe looked up at Gharanth who still stood before him. He swallowed hard. Maybe Gharanth was the one to help him. Maybe...

 

Aldon:
*walks right by the 2 demons*

 

Aroe spots Aldon and motions his head at Gharanth. "Gharanth...I think this talk will have to wait...he doesn't look like he came here to sell us cookies."

 

"Do you need help or is this your personal fight? If it is I won't interfere regardless of the outcome. I respect your privacy. I will see to Cole if you don't want me."

 

"Please...stay...this will be over quick." Aroe grins up at Gharanth. He couldn't remember the last time he'd smiled. It had been so long ago. Aroe pulled out his blades.

 

"Then I will stay with you. I will fight as well if you want. You need never stand alone." Gharanth drew his swords ready.

 

Aroe nodded. "But Gharanth?...don't kill him..."
Aroe's eyes sparkled with mischief. He didn't understand where his sudden motivation came from but he enjoyed it, stepping out towards Aldon in a defensive position.

 

Aldon:
*See's Aroe*

What do you want?
I have no time for talk, so make this quick!

 

"Oh it will be." Aroe brandished his blades, summoning wind by the second. "Make your move."

 

Gharanth nodded and stepped back. He understood that Aroe was testing himself. He allowed the younger demon to take the fight. He would be more of a referee. He growled at Aldon.

 

Aldon:
You know, you caught me on a bad day!

*Aldon's Eyes turn white*
*a portal swallows both into Aldon's world*

I'll just finish you off now!!

*Aldon's 10 orbs appear around him*

Now die!
Elemental Blast!!!!

*a huge beam of all 10 elements head toward Aroe*

 

Aroe's eyes widen. He had forgotten all about Aldon being the elemental warrior in this world. He lifted his arms in a feeble attempt to protect himself and a second later he was staring up at the treetops, body bursting with pain.
He clutched his sides in agony, spotting Gharanth near him and unharmed.
"Gharanth..." He whispered, trying to call the deamon to his side.

 

Aldon:
*Aldon brings Aroe back to his world*

Happy?!

*starts walking away*

 

Gharanth dimension walked, desperately trying to find Aroe. He came to the border of the plane he knew Aldon lived on. Entering he spotted the broken body of Aroe and ran to his side. "Please speak to me. I'll kill him." He gently lifted the broken body and dimension walked back to his plane, tears streaming down his face.

"Gharanth..."Aroe rasped, managing a weak smile through his bloody lips. "Gharanth please..." he swallowed. "forgive me..."
