Demons and Heroes

"Give it up kid. I could kill you easily but I'm not a murderer. Concede defeat and I will help you recover. The orb I'm after is the healing orb and it's not in the hands of any human or demon, just really hard to get to. As far as I'm concerned the lesson is over before it began. I am fully fit, you aren't. Think straight."

Gharanth began to fight defensively, parrying only.

 

Aroe slowed a bit, continueing to attack but only just. The fact that the orb wasn't in anyone's hands meant a little to him but the healing orb only gave an even bigger advantage to Gharanth.
"You already have an orb. Why would you want two?"

 

"Correction boy, I have two orbs. The third will be safe from those who would abuse them. People who take them into wars to give them an advantage and allow them to commit genocide. I have no sides, I hate all equally. Can you think of a safer place? Even you would be willing to use your orb to fight in some emotion driven massacre I'm sure."

 

Aroe's leg gave out and he stumbled forward, almost impailing himself on Gharanth's long blade.
Two orbs? He swallowed.
"So...you want all the orbs...to...keep them safe..."
Aroe thought hard. All the orbs meant his own...and Natalie's. He didn't mind loseing his but Natalie would have to die first. He shook his head.
"I'm sorry, Gharanth. Maybe i am weak but i can't help you..." Aroe sheathed his blades, turning his back on Gharanth. "We're enemies from now on. If I see you within ten miles of the others, ill kill you...and i don't want you to hold back eather."
Aroe jumped up into the sky and let the wind carry him away. He didn't need strength. He needed hope.

 

"I have no wish to take your orb or that or your girlfriend, who by the way loves another. I merely take the unassigned ones. You paint me as the enemy when you are as unstable as they come. I am the only one seeing straight. Natalie has the ice orb and you have the wind orb. I will tell you what I have as a gesture of goodwill. I have the fire and dark orbs. I had to fight like hell to get the dark orb so don't lecture me boy. If you attack me in future I will kill you. All bets are off. You have brought this on yourself. I thought we could be friends as well. Ask Natalie, I'm not the monster you paint me as."

Gharanth turned and dimension walked, disappearing totally.

Natalie watched the two walk off....She was a bit upset that Aroe threatened to kill Gharanth if he got close to her and the others.. they could take care of themselves, and she could take care of herself.. Why does he care so much? Why would he protect her and the others, but kill Gharanth..
"why?" she thought...

 

Gharanth started on his journey alone. He was angry that the little upstart had presumed to threaten him. He could have killed the weakling there and then had he wanted to. They were just not worth the trouble. From now on he worked alone. He would gain the knowledge he needed to live the life he desired and no human or demon would stop him. The dimension walk ended at a jungle. 'Well this is a change' he thought to himself.

 

jecht walked up behind natalie and grabbed her pressing his gun to her head

"where are the orbs"

 

"UGH! GET OFF ME!" She yelled as she elbowed him in his side.

 

Gharanth drew his swords and concentrated on the nature orb. Closing his eyes he knew the direction. The jungle was dense and he would have to hack his way through. The heat didn't bother him but the humidity was uncomfortable. He had no idea what horrors lurked in here.

 

jecht only gripped her tighter around her throat

"if you don't shut up your going to have a bullet in your head now where are the orbs?"

Natalie started to cry...
"I can't give you my orb....it'll kill me," she said as tears went down her face...

OOC: I gtg to my cuz's birthday party,..be back in a few hours

 

jecht saw the orb and took it he then hit her over the head knocking her out

"hehehe a pleasure"

 

Natalie hit the ground.. What Jecht didn't realize was that he took another of her false orbs she made...She still had the real one hidden

Off Topic:
Let's see....the nature orb, it has more things then just healing.

-It can create different kinds of seeds (create your own unique plants)
-Create different kinds of powders like poison powder, sleeping powder, paralyze powder etc.
-control over plants
-healing (Aldon uses this by creating seeds, then he puts them in his wounds and and they sprout and heal him)(you can use your own kind of healing)

 

jecht looked carefully at the orb and pulled out his own orb and the one he took from natalie didnt glow he then walked back to her body and searched it until he found a orb that glowed like his he then left

BIC: Natalie made many false orbs so he could have easily picked up another false one...

 

jecht looked carefully at the orb he had and realized it was a spedtaular fake he thru it and moved back towards natalie and his orb began to glow the closer it got

"hehehe i see"

he grabbed her body and carried it back to his motorcycle and he in front then got on and rode off
