Demons and Heroes

"What is it?" he asked.

 

She blushed.
"Well...I like you Cole... and.. I mean I like you alot.. " she said trying not to blush...

 

Gharanth sat in a cave on his own playing with the fire and humming. He knew that there was bound to be trouble in the Heroes' camp. He had already sown the first seeds of chaos. "C'mon and kiss the girl......" he sang to himself, laughing.

 

He smiled wide and said "You do!?"

 

She turned her head so he wouldn't see her blushing.

"Y-Yeah," she said a bit nervously..

 

He hugged her and said "I'm so happy!"

 

She hugged him back softly..
"I am too," she said..

 

He smiled at her.

 

Gharanth settled down in the warm cave. He was ready to sleep and he had covered the entrance to conceal it with branches and stones. A small natural hole acted as a chimney and he idly watched the smoke rise. It didn't get much better than this. He was causing chaos as well.

 

She smiled at him still blushing.. She sat back against the cave wall....
"I can't believe I finally got that out of my system," she said still nervously..

 

He started blushing too. "It's almost like a dream." he said.

 

She looked down..
"I hope its not," she said softly.. SHe didn't realize but beig so nervous made her start a snow storm..

 

He leaned in and kissed her on the cheek. "This is real." he said.

 

She blushed even more, and made it snow harder...
"It is...." she said... She laid back on the ground and looked at Cole...
"I keep thinking this is a dream though, and I'm gonna wake up any minute and you're not going to be there.." she said as a tear went down the right side of her face

 

He wiped away the tear and said "But I am here and I will always be here."

 

She hugged him softly as another tear went down her face...

"and I never want you leave," she said softly

 

"I won't." he said, holding her gently.

 

She smiled at him... She let go of the hug gently....
"I think we should get some rest...its gonna be a hard day tommorow... I can just feel it," She said...

 

"I feel it too." he said. He rested his head on her shoulder.

 

She stroked his hair softly, had the courage, then kissed his cheek.. She closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep..
