Demons and Heroes

Natalie banged on the ice... She grew weaker as the hypothermia set it...She gave up as she couldn't keep herself up towards the ice..she would just sink.. she hit the bottom

 

Gharanth lay back, mission accomplished. He slowed his heartbeat and began to concentrate more on healing. There was still food left in a pot to the side of the fire. At least he was comfortable.

 

Natalie's eyes glowed blue... She then moved herself around and kicked off the ottom..She punched the ice a couple times, then broke out.. She then climbed out of the water again.. She sat down. She opened her backpack, which suprisingly didn't get wet from the inside.. She pulled out her overthrow and wrapped herself in it.. She made a small fire using matched and warmed herself up...

 

Aroe looked around. THe heartbeat wasnt as fast anymore and he smirked. He had to stop thinking Natalie couldn't take care of herself. She was strong. She was brave. She was...human.
He shook his head and started again towards Gharanth's heartbeat.

 

Cole was walking through the woods. He noticed a fire and walked towards it.

 

Natalie put some wood on the fire to make it a bit bigger..She sat close and sat against a tree.. She still shivvered and closed her eyes...

"Y-Yeah," she said..

 

He sat next to her and asked "Are you cold?"

 

"J-Just a bit..but I'm okay," she said as she ajusted(sp?) the over throw...She pulled her other one out of her backpack and gave it to Cole...
"Here...in case you get cold," she said smiling

 

"I'm fine." he said. He hugged her. "Does this help?"

 

she smiled and nodded..
"Yeah.. it does..but you need an overthrow too.. I'm not making this storm, so I don't know if its going to increase or not," she said worried...

 

Aldon:
*walks in on Cole and Natalie from a portal*

Am I disturbing something?

 

Aroe sighed, sliping around uncontrolably on a patch of ice. He had completely lost the sound of Gharanth's heart and was heading in what he knew was a complete circle.
He tried to push himself across the large sheat of ice but ended up skidding off his feet.
His face hit the ice hard, bruising his cheek. He cursed himself silently.
'I bet Gharanth can ice skate. I bet he can do everything i cant.'

 

"We are just keeping warm."

 

Aldon:
Hmm........
Sure?!

Anyways, I have some bad news.

 

OOC: that reminds me of what happened to me at v-ball practice earlier today..and yeah it hurts!

Natalie let go of Cole and looked at Aldon, to make sure it wasn't his other side..

 

"What is it?" he asked.

 

Aldon:
Don't worry, it's me!

Anyways, the bad new is that the demon named Gharanth has stolen the orb of Darkness from it's residing temple. If he isn't stopped, he may unlock that orb's true power!!
