Natalie could see the whole thing...
"Is he....protecting me? Why would he...?" she thought...

 

Gharanth burst in flames and roared. "You are protecting the little fool. You will suffer for this. Do you like her or maybe even love her? She will hate you as you are everything she despises. You would be better off letting me put her out of her misery."

Gharanth hurled Aroe back against a tree.

 

Natalie couldn't believe what she was hearing..She stood up quickly and ran away ...She ran pretty far until she reached the river..She knew the group was still up at the cliff..She would have to cross but the river was made of ice...She looked back to see if anyone followed her.

 

Pain burst before Aroe's eyes and he felt a warm trickle of blood dripping from his temple. He stumbled to his feet, watching Gharanth aproach Natalie once again.
"No." He said again, this time a bit weaker.
He lunged forward for a second time.

 

"What is she to you? A toy? A distraction? You are a demon, and should not be wasting energy on a lesser being. See sense. You can carry on like this until you die. Have you no pride?"

 

Aroe coughed before Gharanth. "Im not..." But he couldn't finish. He slowly began to draw in a storm of wind. It was weak though. He wasn't strong enough. He knew he could only hold Gharanth for a while and hoped Natalie was long since far away by now.

 

Aldon:
*falls back to sleep*
*his dark side emerges*

Aldon2:
*appears right by Natalie*

Do you need help?

*his eyes are dark*

 

"You are weak and pathetic. You protect an enemy which means that you are also a traitor. Give me one reason why I shouldn't kill you."

 

Natlaie doesn't noticed his eyes...She looked at him..
"I'm fine for now...I just got awayh from two demons and now I'm just scared to death..." she sad wiping away her tears...
"I'm not a good fighter.and I'm waiting to train with Cole...but while I was training by myself, the two demons appeared," she said...

 

Aroe coughs again, feeling sick.
"You won't kill me..........before I kill you..."
He tries to rise to his feet.

 

Aldon2:
*smirks*
*pulls out his sword secretly*

Now give me that orb of yours or something bad may happen!

*his sword looked pitch black*
*his eyes looked dark also*

 

Gharanth hurled a fireball at the helpless demon and walked away. "You are not worth the effort. You are a disgrace to the name demon. Go join the heroes and be as pathetic as they are. You are practically one of them anyway."

 

She started hesitating...She looked at his eyes which were dark...
"You're not Aldon," she said starting to back up...She almost stumbled into the ice cold river.. She saw that she had no where else to run to...

 

Aroe didn't get up this time. To him, there doesn't seem to be a reason anymore. Natalie was alright now, wasn't she? For now at least.
There was a deep, blackend scorch mark on his side and blood on his head. He attempted to but couldn't force his body to move much more. He lay still in the snow. Waiting...

 

Aldon2:
Oh but I am....
Every person has a dark and light side.
What do you think happens when someone has the light or dark orbs?
If you have both light and dark, both sides get a life of their own.....but....I was unfortunate because the light side dominates my body, so I'm only allowed out when he sleeps....

Anyways, give me that orb!

*still threatening her with his sword*

 

She took out the white orb in her pocket and held it up...
"So...all this trouble over this orb....You want it? You'll have to take it from me," she said then put it back in her pocket...

 

Aldon2:
I don't need fight for it....

*his sword emits a dark energy*
*the area is turning dark*

Now give it to me, or I'll release your dark side!!

 

Natalie put her had in her pocket...She made a ball of ice that made it look exactly like the orb...She didn't know if the replica would work...But she gave him the replica..She looked back at the icy river.

 

Aroe shuddered on the snow, something wasn't right. Far off, he could hear Natalie's heartbeat in his ears. She was nervous. Afraid maybe. Had Gharanth caught her again?
With a hiss of pain, he stumbled to his feet but fell back down, rolling over himself and skidding down a small hill towards the river, acheing and wet, he rested in a bank of snow again.

 

*Aldon wakes up*

Aldon2:
NO!!!!!

I'll be back!!!......

*he fades away*
*the darkness also fades away*
