Demons and Heroes

"Maybe." he said.

 

"I remember the first day I was here. I remember..... Aroe. He was the demon boy, who liked me," she said softly

 

"I wonder what happened to him."

 

A teardrop went down her face.
"He.....he died," she said.

 

"He did? That's too bad." He put his arm around her.

 

She nodded softly.
"He loved me, and i feel guilty" she said.

 

"Why do you feel guilty? It wasn't your fault."

 

"Because I told him, I could never love him, for he was a demon," she said

 

"I see." he said. "Lets not talk of this anymore. It's upsetting you, and I don't want to see you upset."

 

Tears started rolling down her cheeks.
"I know its upsetting me, and If you don't want to talk about it, then i won't" she said

 

He kissed her tears. "If you want to talk about it, we'll talk about it."

 

"No....I want to, but i don't want to. I want to let out my emotins, but i'm afraid to," she said. She continued walking with Cole

 

"Are you afraid of a blizzard?" he asked.

 

jecht wachted them leave he thought of ryoko and pain shot thru him

"RAAAAAHHH"

then his eye color changed it became red and his pupils turned to slits he had become a demon

 

Twilight was ready to practice again, forming water in her palms and aiming at Gharanth. "Are you sure you have to be the target?" She asked.

 

"Trust me, I'll be fine. There is no reason that you have to be concerned. At worst you will have to cuddle me later and I can't see that being a bad thing."
Gharanth grinned and stood ready. "Hit me if you can!"

 

Twilight laughed, "Don't get hit if you can." She smiled as she began to throw the water, fast, one after the other.

 

Natalie nodded.
"I don't want to make a blizzard," she said.

 

Gharanth ran as fast as he could but admitted to himself that it probably wasn't fast enough. He was getting older and the madness of the game would catch him out. Water hit him and he caught his foot on a rock, sending him sprawling into the now muddy puddles. He lay there for a while before getting up and rubbing his ankle.

 

"Then we won't talk about it." he said.
