Demons and Heroes

Natalie wiped away his tears and kissed his cheek.
"I can help you control your anger Cole," she said smiling at him.

 

"You can?" he asked.

 

"Yes...but I can't let Dameon know. He's the reason I stopped helping others handle their aggression," she said.

 

"Why, what happened?"

 

"Well...one day last year when we were dating, he got so mad that he...well," she tried to say..

 

"What did he do?" he asked.

 

"He hurt me," she said softly..
"Physically and Mentally," she said again...

 

"That's horrible. I would never do that to you."

 

"I tried to take it but, I was never so scared in my life," she said then hugged Cole and began to cry...

 

Aldon:
*looks at the stranger*

Why would you think that?

*keeps walking*

 

Dameon walked along with him..
"Because this is the way to get to it.. I know because I traveled this place 6 months ago," he said..

 

Aldon:
*looks at the stranger*

Well, my sword also doesn't lie, it points out which ways an orb is in and it is straight ahead.

*keeps walking*

 

"Do you mind if I join you?" he asked walking with him..

 

Aldon:
As long as you don't have plans to steal the orb right under my nose as I'm doing all the work to get it.

After that, I'm going after the last orb.........

*another trap triggers*
*parts of the ground start shattering, down below is a fast current of water*
*Aldon teleports past it*

I should have done that on the last trap.......

*keeps walking, not keeping his eyes on the stranger*

 

"Hmm. so you can teleport too eh? Why not just teleport to the orb?" he asked

 

Aldon:
If you had as much experience as I do with the orbs, then you may know the reason why not to teleport.

*keeps walking*
*the elemental sword starts glowing blue*

It's close.

 

"Closer than you think Aldon," he said...

 

Aldon:

Twilight packed up all her things in a small brown sack and slung it over her shoulder, looking at her tent. It would be too big to carry. She knew Gharanth would insist on lugging it around for her but she wouldn't do that to him. He wasn't her slave. He was her friend. And there was no way Twilight was gonna make this journey any harder than it need be.

 

They made it back to the cave and he said "Well, it's all over now." He hugged her back.
