Demon Slayers vs. Demons 3: A new beginning!

"Maybe." he said. "What were their names?"

"Well, we've got to go study! See ya dad!" Phil said, taking Jordan's hand and bringing her up to his room.

"I'm glad my boys found girlfriends." he said. "But that girl looked so darn familiar. Who could her parents be?"

"That was close." Phil said, after shutting the door. He was still holding Jordan's hand.

 

She nodded and sat down in the floor. Her legs felt wobbly and she didn't even want to try and walk. Her hands were shaking and she tried to take a deep breath.
"I'm so afraid," she said softly.

 

"Of what, my parents?" he asked. "Don't worry, they don't fight demons anymore. Besides, they only killed evil demons. You aren't evil."

 

"Yeah, but... Nicole and Cloudroth...... they're my parents, and they were evil," she said still shaking.

 

"And you're not." he said. "That's why they are dead and you are still alive."

 

She started crying softly.
"I wish they weren't dead," she said softly hanging her head down.

 

He kneeled down next to her and said "If your parents were alive, I wouldn't be here." he said. "Who would you want more? Them, or me?"

 

She cried more. She wanted both, and it was either one way or the other.
"Phil, i don't mean that i don't want you here. I just want them back so i could know them, and actually have parents who might care for their child. I would've loved to be raised by my parents other than about twenty different families all my life," she said.

 

"But they would have raised you to be evil." he said, also starting to cry. "Are you saying you want to be evil?"

 

She rubbed her eyes
"I wouldn't let them turn me evil," she siad.

 

"How would you know it was evil. They'd probably teach you that it was being good." he said. "You don't know."

 

She still cried.
"I just.......i don't know," she said feeling her tears roll down her cheek endlessly.

 

He hugged her. "That's right." he said. "You don't know."

 

She rubbed her eyes.
"Maybe... I should tell your dad... I still feel wrong about him not knowing and i'm here," she said.

 

"I don't think we should." he said. "Who knows what he'll do."

 

She thought for a second.
"Why don't we ask him what he would do if he ever met the child of Nicole and Cloudroth," she said

 

"I don't think you'd want to hear the answer to that." he said.

 

"Please? I'm very curious and its making me edgy," she chuckled.

 

"Are you sure? You might not like it." he said. "And he might figure it out."

 

"I'm sure," she said smiling.
"I don't care what it is, i just have to know," she said.
