Demon Slayers vs. Demons 2

"At least I have conquered death." he said. "I have come back to finish what I've started and also get revenge on Kyle for killing me!"

"You asked me to!" he said.

"LAIR!" he roared, charging, dual katanas drawn.

 

Ceri stepped in front of Kyle. "Actually you did ask him Cloudroth. He told me all about it and you know people can't lie to me. I think the effect of being mostly machine has turned you mad."

 

"I am perfectly sane! You are the one that's crazy!" he said, swinging both katanas at her.

OOC: He has no recollection of what happened when he was Ultimus.

 

"Ultimus, stop now!" Ceri screamed at him. The psychic blasts were ineffectual but her natural scream drove terror into all but the bravest souls!

 

"That is not my name! And why should I? He kills me, I kill him, sounds fair to me!"

 

"You don't remember. You turned into Ultimus and that's when you begged to be killed. You really have a split personality. Listen to me Cloudroth, Ultimus or whatever. Kyle would never do the wrong thing. You begged him to let you die."

 

"LIES!!!!" he yelled, slashing at her.

 

"Kill me if you want but I'm telling the truth. You can look in my mind if you want. No tricks, just the facts."

 

Cloudroth stabbed at her but Kyle pushed her away and got stabbed instead.

 

Ceri slashed at Cloudroth's face with her axes. "I've been reasonable now I'm mad. You hurt my husband." She sank the blades into him. "This time I'll kill you." Her demonic half gave her all the strength she needed.

 

He removed his sword from Kyle's shoulder and dodged the attack.

 

Ceri flew at him. She was no longer sane, but merely a creature trying to kill the monster in front of her. She hacked the axes into the joints, causing damage.

 

He kicked her back and sent a wave of darkness at her.

 

She repelled it with a psychic wall, though it knocked her back. Screaming incoherently she lashed straight back at him.

 

He vanished through a dark portal.

 

"Coward" she screamed. Panting for breath she slumped beside Kyle, examining his wound. "I will need to dress that. She got a small first aid kit out of her bag and dressed the wound. "Do you want to go to hospital?" She then thought that was a stupid question, he was half demon and there would be questions.

 

"I'll be fine now. How about you?" he asked.

 

Ceri hugged him. "Better now I know you're alright. You're a proper Captain Scarlet."

 

"Never heard of him." he said.

 

"Never heard of Captain Scarlet? Where have you been?" Ceri looked amazed.
