Dmitriy got up and nodded. He seemed to, for the most part, have caught his breath now and looked better. "Lets go," he said.

 

"Encalla." Jasper called down into the hideout. "Let's get going."

BIC: "yea yea i'm on my way..." She pulled a map out and marked where they are "ok we are here...and the next town is abought 15 miles west...well come on now lets get going"

 

Dmitriy nodded.

 

abought a mile from the town Encalla stoped and turned to the two "OK YOU TWO, i need to ask... have you ever been to another town other then "home"?"

 

Dmitriy shook his head.

 

Encalla handed both of them 1000Z (around 100$ US curancy) "ok you guys have this much to spend in this town.... don't care what you spend it on...just watch out for pickpokets.... now i'm off to talk to the leader.... we will meet in the center of the town in 2 hours"

 

Jasper nodded, "Hold up. If you're off to talk to the town leader, I want to be there. We're a team now wether we like it or not and there's no way i'm just sitting out. I'm comming with you."

 

"you cann't... you need one of these" Encalla then pulled out a small pin "so you cann't.... sao as i said... se you in a few hours

 

Jasper cursed and rolled his eyes. He wasn't up for sitting in the background but if what Encalla said was true, he wouldn't fight. "Good luck then. I'll see ya later."

Jasper rushed towards the center of town, completely forgetting he had money to spend. He wasn't much in the mood for shopping anyways.
He entered the town square, lined with small shops and a fountain in the very center. He walked over and took a seat on a bench, waiting out his morning like he always did.

Encalla walked into the center of the town and saw Jasper "well good news and bad news..... good news is i was able to talk to them...... bad news... they didn't baleave me.... so we have to warn another town....."

 

Jasper thought then shook his head with a sigh. "There must be a way to make them beleive us. Encalla, look at all these people." Jasper gestured at a family sitting by the fountain. "They're all gonna die if we just leave. We have to do something to protect them."

 

"and how are we sapost to do anything if you and the other boy couldn't even take on 1 of the weakest of those demons?"

 

"Hey!!" Dmitriy said indignatly. "We aren't that weak." "One man defending his homeland is stronger than any demon there ever was or is or will be!!" "We have something worth fighting for, true our families may be gone but that doesn't mean we should give up." "I won't rest until I kill every last one of them, including the leader!!"

 

Fine.... we will dual in the center of the village at sunset.... this will help train you" and it should get us some money if people are willing to pay to watch

 

Jasper scowled. Encalla had runaway from their first fight. She had no grounds to call either of them weak for losing. He didn't say this though, just nodding in agreement to Dmitriy and touching the pocket knife in his jeans.
