Deathbattle: Goku vs. Superman

You haven't seen much of DBZ/GT have you? Goku wouldn't do that either. SSJ Goku's heart is full of rage, but not evil. In the movie Dragon Ball Z: Super Android 13 Goku gathers the energy for a Spirit Bomb. Normally this would only be possible in base form because the Super Saiyan transformation is inherently malicious and taints the heart and soul. And only someone pure of heart can use the Spirit Bomb technique. However in this movie, Goku manages to channel the Spirit Bomb energy directly into himself while he is in his Super Saiyan form, supercharging his power, giving him a Spirit Bomb-sized solar aura, and filling him with a straining fury. Despite not being able to form one as a Super Sayan, Goku is apparently capable of using it in this form since he turned into a Super Saiyan when he destroyed Kid Buu with the Super Spirit Bomb, after already forming it and firing it.

They should make a video with Superman fighting Gogeta SSJ4 then, if they think that superman can beat Goku, because quite a few things in that fight didn't even work, considering i'm sure Goku is faster than a speeding bullet by far, and even if Superman can destroy a planet, how much effort does he have to put into it? I'd love to see superman go through what Goku does.

 

Gogeta isn't Goku though. Completely different fight and level of power.

Goku was moving faster than a speeding bullet in the video too, just like Superman...

Superman doesn't have to do more than simply punch the planet's core, and in some versions, he can sneeze and destroy a planet...if not a whole damn galaxy. He's literally "Overpowered Man."

Yeah, he's between those two crashing planets.

Here's just a few things Superman has gone through.

Also, if anyone brings up magic again, know this: Superman is not weak against magic, he simply is not invulnerable to it, meaning that the Power Pole exerts the same amount of force on him as it does to any other DBZ character.

 

Ok then tell me this, how the heck is it even possible to CLOSE A BLACK HOLE!!? Even Marvel would have to BS it's way out of that, because you can't close a black hole, so no matter what he did in the comics, it's pretty dumb. There is no way Superman can kill Goku, there's just no way. Not too mention, I doubt Superman would know that he could bat away a ki blast like he did at the beginning.

 

Don't ask me, I didn't write it, but you're kinda overstating one thing over the other stuff.

And exactly why is there no way for Superman to kill Goku? And why wouldn't he be able to bat away a Ki blast?

I get that some of you guys are Goku fanboys, but seriously, this is getting ridiculous. I like Goku more myself, but Superman is just the superior fighter.

 

I might be a Goku Fanboy when it comes to Goku Vs. Superman (which Goku would always win), but there's just so much that doesn't make sense with this video. And I'm not saying Superman couldn't kill Goku, but I doubt he would actually get the strength for it. Goku beat a guy that could literally destroy an entire solar system in seconds. I just don't believe this is all

 

What exactly doesn't make sense? And Superman could do the same...though he obviously has never needed to, being a defender more than a destroyer (like Goku)

 

Why is it so important that Goku win? There's hard evidence to prove the superiority of superman.

Is your anime pride hurt by a non-Japanese character beating one of the most well known anime characters of all time?

 

I love both Goku and Superman. But Superman has never faced any villain who even came close to the villains Goku has faced in terms of power. And he got his ass kicked pretty bad by both Darkseid and Doomsday before he finally beat them. Both of which pale in comparison to even Frieza in terms of power. I'd like to see Superman try to beat somebody like Perfect Cell or Majin Buu. I just don't see him being stronger than Goku...

Wrong, they even mention Broly in some of the episodes of DBZ. Now some movies are not cannon (Like DB: Path to power), but a lot of them are cannon.

 

Actually, parts of the anime, and all of the movies (except for "The History of Trunks" for the most part, and maybe Bardock: Father of Goku), are not canon, and I'm wondering if the reference to Broly happened in the translated dubs only rather than the original Japanese.

The manga alone is the canon for DBZ, as the anime features dozens of useless fillers, as well as some incorrect ones, like Vegeta destroying a planet, Vegetto (or "Vegito" if you like the weird spelling) fighting Buu in Base Form before going Super Saiyan, and just about anything else that wasn't in the manga.

But this is pointless if they bring GT into the fight at all, because that entire series is not canon.

 

I have seen it all. I own all the orange/ blue/ yellow boxes. I am aware of Goku's abilities. Super just has him beat.
