Death Note

Oh yeah it is original, it had me hooked from episode one, and i'm a fan of the action anime.

 

I've read up to VOl. 2 and I'm hooked ;D

It's odd to say the least.

 

I'm on chapter 17 in the manga. I just found some manga scanlations of my fav scenes, and made fun of it. XD

 

I have got three letters/words for that new intro: WFT! That did have some interesting elements but the fast paced song and fluid moves had nothing to do with the theme of the show. The old intro was somewhat weird, but at least the visuals and (to some degree) the song matched the tone of the show. This intro is for something more like Hellsing with s***loads of action not death note with its complex subtleties.

Now I need to watch the anime. *Throws manga away*

 

The new opening its alright. The last ten seconds of it sucked though

 

How many episodes are there? I stopped at 20 :3

 

Currently there has been about 20 episodes aired. I heard that there was going to be about 37 episodes.

If you really don't want to spoil it for yourself, don't read the manga.

...before any of you asked, yes. Yes, I read the manga from Vol 1 - Vol 8. I'm just going to say that with Vol.8, expect surprises...and insanity.

I started watching Death Note a couple weeks ago and now I'm COMPLETELY attached [mostly to L but the anime is amazing by itself ^_^;] I watch the anime, not read the manga :3

The new opening kinda frightens me... it makes me think of demons on drugs :o

 

i think it was 100 times better then the first one :P

 

Eh, I prefered the first one. It gave a darker and supernatural feel than the second one.

I like both endings, Alumina is awesome.

I guess you aren't going to like the second arc of Death Note much then. XD

I want to know how they are going to fit the half of the series in 13 episodes, should be interesting.

It's good to see the episodes getting great again, episode 17-20 were good, just a tad dull.

 

Yeah, cause of...I can't really say what will happen cause I'll just spoil for the lot of you who haven't read the manga.

Light/Raito (Raito is Light's Dubbed Name) is surprisngly sinister. He's not like those cliche evil psychopaths which is really cool.

 

Yeah it is an original anime, the main character is the evil one, and it's about just killing everyone.

 

yeah, I got bored at 17-20. Hopefully the next few episodes will be good? =O

 

Oh indeed, it will start getting good.

Just wait awhile for the twists and cliffhangers.

 

Okay, good. Hm.. is episode 21 out yet? D=
