Death Note

Anyone watch this series. I'm reading the manga, and also watching the episodes as it comes out in subs. It's really great, it has an awesome storyline and is put well.

Death Note is the best. I have started watching and it is great!

 

I can't wait for the movie to come out...

Someone told me that a few days ago and I am so excited.

 

A Death Note movie! Yeh! If you find out when it is release please tell! the anime is awesome so the movie should be as well.

 

Death Note rocks! :D I've watched all the episodes of the anime so far, and I've got the first two volumes of the manga!
The Last Name trailer is so awesome! :D It almost looks like a horror movie, YAY FOR HORROR MOVIES~

 

Never heard of it.. Where I live, anime is almost non-existent :o Well, except for Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh (ugh). Heh.

 

Don't worry, the anime is only out in japan. :D Just download it illegally and you'll be fine. XD

 

I know what you mean. I watch stuff on youtube and buy manga books from amazon.co.uk. The UK sucks for anime. Got Naruto DVDs though in my home town (faints). I now want Death Note!

 

death note is supremely awesome. ans the way they planned everything out was genius. i loved it when *spoilers* L told light that he was L. It was a bold move and a perfect strategy at the same time *no more spoilers ^_^*. lol, death gods love apples XD.

 

I've started to watch it and i'm loving it so far.

Now Viz has licensed Death Note, but the thing is that they are going to make it available online to download.

 

What is it about? my bf is reading the manga and watching the anime and he told me it's pretty cool, but he didn't tell me anything about the plot!!! xD

 

Well it's about this student who finds a book called the Death Note, which was dropped by a Death God. And when you write someones name in it in 6 minutes (I think) time they would die, so this student is using this book to kill criminals and make the world a better place in which he will rule as god. But the police find this to be a crime and are trying to catch him.

I've only seen the anime so far, but the anime is yet to finish, and the manga is complete. There is even a live action movie for it.

 

i just started reading it and its a really good manga.........though i have yet to see the anime :(

 

I've read the first chapter through a Shonen Jump preview and it's got me interested. Though I haven't yet found the time to actually purchase the manga/anime and enjoy it.

 

Well you can't purchase the anime yet, but i'm up to date with the anime, and I love it.

 

I've only ever read the first two volumes of the manga, but I'd have to say that I don't think it's very good for how its released;

Death Note seems to me like it would be better if it were released as one book, rather than serialized monthly; it seems to have one basic plot from everything I've read/heard, and for a serialized manga, it doesn't seem all that... well, serialized.

 

Actually, the death note series was not like one the the other series where the writer will just put random things that have nothing to do with the plot in meet the monthly quotient (not that there something fundamentally flawed with that, it worked for Ranma 1/2), that kind of thing work not work for Death Note.

Very good anime and very good manga although I am not quite done. Probably the most original premise I have seen in a long time. *spoiler alert: anime episode 18*It is intense without even having action scenes (although there was this one fight scene with Light and L that I though was totally overdone and out of place, the episode friends). *spoilers end*
