I seriously don't understand how people can love Matt so much. I mean, he had like the smallest role ever. And he wasn't THAT awesome. Gawd. Crazy fans.

@ DR - huh, Matsuda had quite a large role. And I can understand why people liked him. He was awesome, and rather adorable. *sounds like a hypocrite*

 

Let's not talk about B here, as he was never in the anime, no matter how awesome he is.

But everyone at least LIKES L in some respect. He's just that kind of character, I guess.

 

It would of been cool if he was seen more...


B is my favorite character but seeing how he isn't in the anime I'll stick with L and Near.​

 

There's alot more to his story if you red the manga including,"How to Read 13." I still like him. Light was an idiot. What an ass.

Light totally deserved to die... in my opinion. He was out of control. He went from just killing criminals to killing anyone who opposed him, was in his way, or would help him reach his goals. I think he had some kind of mental issue. He just started going crazy with all his power...

 

I didn't think so at first, but after seeing it around five times, I reaklized that he had snapped and became twisted as the show progressed. Now I agree with you.

Did anyone realize that L knew he was going to die. Also, he may not have looked it, but he went crazy. He realized that if Kira wanted to kill criminals and L, would that mean he was a criminal. He thought so, and that's why he says "It's the least I can do to atone for my sins" and "It'll be lonely won't it."

 

Of course they both snapped, but are you saying that you wouldn't in their situations? That's a hell of a lot of stress.

 

My god, I knew the episode he was going to die from all the rain and foreshadowing. I was like, "It was nice knowing you L"

In the ep L died... he was like washing Light's feet...

 

L most likely knew he was going to die soon, but he viewed Light as a friend.​

 

He thought he was a criminal, so he was "atoning for his sins." He pretty much snapped even though you can't tell.

I don't usually get emotionally attached to anime but that episode almost made me cry, almost.

 

It really did make me cry... I loved L...! But how could he wash his feet... ewwww... I'm pediphobic!!!

 

this show is almost my favorite anime... i loved it! light really did have to die, i guess, but i didn't WANT him to (and not just because hes hot) his ideals were not such a bad thing and he wasn't crazy. oh, and i LOVE misamisa! shes the cutest thing in the world!

 

loved the books but i thought the films were a bit of a let down. No near, mello, matt or the rest -_-
