Death Note: The Prolouge of L

"You should beware of the Naruto fan-girls." L said with a small laugh. L walked with Lucas. holding the FMA manga in the bag. They stopped infront of a hotel. L walked in and went to the clerk. "Im here to check in."
"Certaintly Ryuzaki." Said the clerk. The Clerk then checked him off the check in list.
"Cmon" L told Lucas. He walked over to the elevators.

 

Lucas followed after L and stood beside him infront of the elevators. "Can I really get a job on the force again? And why did that clerk call you Ryusaki?" the questions just kept pouring out without him thinking...again.

 

"Maybe you could. But if you did that then you wont be a famous Detective or Be able to control the police force" L told him.. L and Lucas entered the Elevator. "Ryuzaki is just another alias i made." He told Lucas. "I go by that name because if i said i am L everyone will get all heaped up and the media will crowd me and my enemies will try to eliminate me. For security purpose's please do not call me L anymore. Call me Ryuzaki". L was thinking in his mind. I would get award's if people knew i was L. But if i did i would always be in death-threatening situations.

 

Lucas nodded. "Right, sorry Ryusaki." he said and looked at the little indicator that told you which floor you were at. "And I don't mind if I'm not famous, that doesn't bother me. No one's noticed me before anyway."

"It's alright. Just dont call me L anymore." The elevator foor flung open. L and Lucas walked down the hall. "So you rather have a job with the police." L asked. "But first ask yourself this. Would you rather Work for the police doing every-day crime investigations such as murders and break-in's? Or command the Police and take on Case's so Unhuman like that cant be revealed to the world and have special permission to enter Area-51?"

 

"Well...I don't really want to control the police, but I'd love to do special cases. All the other ones I've done were way to easy," he laughed again. "Do you think I'm cut out for special cases?" he asked afterwards, somewhat quieter.

 

"Well lets see. . ." L was thinking about Lucas's abilities. "You can hack locks and gain intellegence for us. You are cut out for these cases. L opened the door to his room wich was prety high-tech. "But the question is. . . Are you brave enough?". He sat down in his awkward position on the couch.

 

Lucas dropped his bag by the door and closed it. "Are you kidding? Heck yeah!" he smiled and ran to sit on the couch opposite the one L was on.

 

"Are you sure? These case's are very life-threatening and scary. Can you face things such as Ungod-like creatures that are beyond your greatest horror's and can defy the law's of Physics?. Can you face Extra Terrestrials and Human's who have become mutants." He started to eat some choclate cake. "Can you face the worlds most scariest things in existance?"

 

Lucas's smile faltered slightly. He looked down at his lap in thought. Was he up to all that? It did sound scary...Finally, he looked back up at L. "I've come this far, haven't I? Can't back down now," he said with a nervous laugh.

"Are you sure?" L asked. He took a bite of his cake. "Are you permitted to this? You know those Gorey Horror games you play?"

 

"I can do whatever I want!" Lucas said quickly and crossed his arms. "You mean these cases are gonna be like Resident Evil stuff?"

 

"Sometimes." L said. He finished his choclate cake. "In a few case's you might experience stuff like that". He walked over to the fridge and grabbed 2 pepsi's. "some case's might involve those horror game's you play . . . times ten". L sat down and handed Lucas a pepsi.

 

Lucas took the pepsi and opened it, taking a sip. "I can do it. I know I can," he said as determined as ever.

 

"I hope so" L said as he took a sip.

Watari entered the room. "Good morning L."

"Ah hello watari!!". L took another sip. "Lucas this is Watari. The only person who can contact me and my good friend who has taken care of me my whole life."

"Im here for the party." Hiro said as he entered the room. "Sup L."

"Lucas this is Hiro. He is experienced in hacking computer files and is intellegent as both of us." L said

"Damn right!". Hiro walked over to the fridge and took out a pepsi and opened it. He sat on the couch.

"L, Lucas, Hiro. We have three new case's to work on."

"Good!" L said as he took another sip.

 

Lucas stared at Hiro warily, and drank more of his pepsi. "Okay, what are the cases?" he asked.

 

Watari pressed a button on a remote. A huge screen appeared infront of them

"The three case's are: The heart stealing murderer, The Progenetor Virus, and the Ghost of Alcatraz." Watari told them.

On the screen were three tittles of the case's written in fancy writting.

"The progeniter virus?" Hiro asked. He took a sip of his pepsi. "Sound's like something off of Resident evil. That could be fun!!".

L looked at the screen. "The Ghost of Alcatraz. . . Sounds interesting." he said

"Alcatraz was the most secure prison in the world." Watari said.

 

"Ghost of Alcatraz sounds the most interesting to me," Lucas said and guzzled down the rest of the pepsi. "And obviously, Alcatraz hasn't met me yet if they still call it secure."

 

"Really. . .We might do that first then . . ." L said

Hiro pouted. "I wanted to do the Progenitor virus!!! It sound's scary and i like scary things that have to do with horror games!!"

L looked at hiro. "Its been settled. Well do the ghost of alcatraz first."

OOC: another thing i forgot.

As you progress through case's more case's unlock. Lol im sounding like a video game XD.

and another thing. The only reason i take long to come here is because im playin GH2. I reply after every song.

 

Lucas laughed. "Ha!" he stuck his tongue out at Hiro, smiling. Yes, he could be an immature imp sometimes, but that's what keeps life interesting.

OOC: Lol, you DO sound like a video game :P And don't worry about taking a while, I'll probably start taking longer when I start my homework ><

Oh yeah, and I like yaoi so sorry if I toss some of that in there ^ ^;;;
