Death Note movie in America!

While watching the previews when I went to see Ironman. I saw that in spelect theaters they will be showing the first Death Note movie on May 20th and 21st.

 

The actors better not be horrible. ;_;

 

Well, I think it's pretty good movie, I saw it in Japanese with English subtitles on deathnote.tv. It might have English dubbing in theaters, but I don't think so.

 

It will be dubbed. Thats a bummer if you ask me, dubs always suck. Here ya go...

I was going to watch it once i finished the series, but i have to go see it since the actor who played Nanahara is in it o-o

 

It comes out on my birthday, but I'm probably not going to see it. The closest theater it's in is still pretty far away.

 

Oooh, I'm going to see it! Subs are cool and all, but my head starts to hurt after reading them, and I can't focus on the movie when I'm reading them. Dubs usually are painful, but screw it -- Death Note owns.

Not at all. It's actually kinda old in Japan. It's been out for like a couple years. They already have one sequal out and are coming out with a third, if they don't already have it.

I thought it was pretty good.

 

I think it looks pretty good, but I don't know if I would see it in theaters. Besides most of the theaters it's playing in are two hours away from my house.

 

I'm biting my tongue on this...really...

The movie is awesome so they better not screw it up...

 

I saw the preview and poster when i went and saw Iron Man.

...Ryuuk looks sick, but come on, really? I don't plan to see this, that's what redbox is for, IF it comes to redbox.

 

I knew about this nearly a moth ago. I'm so mad because its during the week and I won't be able to see it. If it was going to be shown that following weekend, I could since I'll be in Orlando. That's okay though since I have both movies1 and 2.

 

Honestly, I never knew about this until I saw a english dub trailer on youtube or somewhere. Seeing it makes me want to see it, well because I only seen the japanese one with english subs (which was hard to follow) but it can turn out good:)
