As for the first rule, I don't think the Kira should die. A complex hint, however, hidden in the accusation the Shinigami writes might be a good idea.

No, the surveillance would only pick up a Death Note returned due to a refusal. A Mikami naturally giving it back does not trip the sensors, and it's assumed Kira uses some potato-eating trick to get around them.

Ah, right. My apologies. In future, the Shinigami notify each other when the Death Note or fragments of the Death Note change hands.


Oh, and Mako's idea is rather nice. If a non-note Kira accuses a Mikami (or something similar), we'll include that information in the hint somehow, as it doesn't affect the non-note Kira's performance as a detectives, and it screws with the Detectives' heads.

 

Yeah I think that is ok. A Kira should be discouraged from handing the DN to someone and then accusing them to win because that isn't the point of the game. The second rule, although complex, sounds good to me. What was the bit about laziness with my death by the way?

Also, I'm in for the next round.
