Oh Pika. I love how you are theorizing that i'm secretly a plant. I can give you a firm statement that i'm not kira. Round 14. 'Member what happened? I tried a prank and it backfired and cost me the win. Kira/Shinigami's won't do that.

I also have a strong feeling that Kira is trying to frame a number of members right now.

Okay, I'm baffled in regards to the case. Dark requiem PMed me with the following messages:

Make of them what you will. If he is to be believed, STH was told I know DR's name and that he has explained what he has done to a fourth party.

Firstly, STH, is this true?

Oh, and DR has altered the place where I found his name. Dunno when, but it's changed.

Now TKM, are you allowed to reveal certain knowledge? I want to know, was that an eye kill?

 

Yeah, it's all true.

 

My question is why he would tell me that at all. If he is already using a third party to back him up, why would he tell me about his plans? If you "contacted" me like you said, it would be with a peice of paper and it would be obvious you would be Kira without any assistance from him. So why would he tell me? The only logical reason I can find is that he wanted to trap me too and secure his survival if I became/was Kira. Or of course there is the chance he did not consider what could be gained from telling me and just went for it.

So I can draw a number of conclusions about DR's messages.

1. He was not Kira, because the plot above is too elaborate for a fake.

2. He was a Kira/Mikami and he didn't consider why he would send it to me, and just sent it in order to make STH and myself believe in his innocence.

3. He was not Kira, only an overzealous detective who did not consider why he would include me in the plot of his.

That's all I've got. STH, may I see the PMs you and him exchanged?

 

Don't forget that he is one of the smartest and most logical members on this site, and he has his ways of making people think what he wants them to think. Plus, he has made a succesful Mikami in the past, and there's no reason for Kira, whomever that may be, to not pick him again.

I wouldn't trust him just yet.
