Death Note Fad 2.0?

xD Yeah, same here. I just find normal people and immerse them in the world of Death Note. Then I have my own group of DEath Note buddies.

I even got Death Note banned at one school I went to. Not on purpose, of course.

Feh. Death Note is certainly one of the most influential series of manga and anime to exist, but it's old now. Anyone who acts like it's new is deluded and anyone who acts like it's the best thing since Rick Astley is overestimating it. It's interesting and poses a moral argument but other series do a way better job of that. I'd say it's not a fad but a brief resurgence in popularity, it's days of being the new hot stuff are over.

 

Did this thread get revived? And isn't this fad over by now? I thought Death Note finished yesterday.
