Death Note Dub to Air in America

True that. It isn't that bad. I quite enjoy it. I'm hoping Misa's doens't sound like **** lawl. It's a complicated sound she needs xD

I'm really getting tired of this. Yes, Light isn't as good. but can you hoenstly say that there has been ANY anime where all the characters have great voices? If you really love DN, Roxma, then you should just watch the sub and pretend like you dont give a care about the dub. I mean, I do it too. Quite frankly, the fact that Death Note is even IN america satisfies me. We already have it here, so complaining about it wouldn't exactly be the greatest thing to do.

Misa was pwn in DN.

 

Like I said, man, LAURA BAILEY! She can do any sort of female voice out there.

She was Lust in FMA, Shin-chan, Tohru, Trunks, and I've heard her chibi voice before. It's just like Misa.

But, as Libre said, they already got someone. So I is looking forward to it~

Death Note might still have a chance. Ryuk, L, Soichiro, Watari, and even Light have some decent to awesome voices. As long as they don't completley ruin Misa, Mello, and Near, I''ll be okay XD

 

lol, I completely agree with that. It's just not funny anymore to see another Anime ruined by English dubs.

 

My opinion on episode 5:

OMG EVERYONE'S VOICES GOT BETTER.
Ryuk, L, and even LIGHT are perfect nao. Seriously, L is getting way better at not sounding too old<3 Oh yeah, but, Aizawa bothers me >O And Light's "RAWR IM KIRAZ" voice is Hillarious xD

Oh yeah, and Naomi annoys me =/

I know, he's all like "ZOMG I IZ DYING D: [/heartattack]" and everyone just walks by... and Light is like "LOLZ FAREWELLZ RAYE PENBER LOLOLOLOL."

Oh, yes, to those who don't know, this one here is new to the series ;D I let him borrow the manga in class~ So go easy on him, he's still learning.​

 

Ohh geez, I just got through watching all of the Japanese episodes ~ It was epic...

Er, yeah XD THAT ASIDE, I can't say I'm a big fan of the dub so far; in comparison to the Japanese I just...Really don't like it. >.>; But I think I just need to get used to it...Erk...Or...Something. I kinda just skipped around to see what everyone sounded like, I'm assuming it gets better from what I've read (I've only seen one or two episodes in English, and I skipped around, so I'm noone to judge this...). I'm a DN noob so...Yeah ;D.

 

Sub > Dub, I agree, but it's still nice to see what every ep is gonna be liek =]

 

Lol, well, that's true ~ I'm sure the voices'll get better as I get used to them, too. I'm probably just hating them because they're in English, and for me English dubs are usually death. .____________.

Now I'm all excited to see how everyone's voices'll turn out, lol. ;D

Yeah, like once. But you could tell, even he got better. His voice wasn't so much "OMG GET MY VOICE ACTOR A THROAT LASENGE"... it was more like "RAWR IM SINISTER AND DEAD >:3"
